Kate and I went to Old City Coffee after enjoying a sandwich from DiNic’s in the Reading Terminal Market. I have to say I was extremely happy with the Americano. They use their six bean espresso blend and it was some of the smoothest tasting coffee I have had anywhere. It was so good that I may start ordering coffee... More

We visited one of the branches in Reading Terminal Market and were not blown away by either the coffee of the service. The price is about right, but I won't remember anything about the coffee or the service in the future. The coffee was bland and the service blander. Nothing special.

Great local coffee shop in old city area. Visited here several times while in town recently, and they have the best coffee in the area. Also enjoyed breakfast oatmeal and other treats. All were very good. Really worth visiting.

Nice place to get coffee in the morning. Check out the whole bean coffee they have for sale. The French Roast is amazing if you like a dark roast. I had a double espresso which was very nice.

Finally, a decent coffee and a pretty good muffin (blueberry coconut-strange combi but really won me over in the end)! I see that it has 2 stalls in Reading but I went for the standalone shop in the neighborhood (as it is quite near the hostel). They are said to roast their own coffee beans with lots of blends from... More

So, I'm really funny about my coffee, and this was nothing less than great! I enjoyed a cup of hot coffee with a buttered roll (from another place at Reading Terminal Market) and didn't want it to end.

My wife and I stopped here for coffee one morning while touring Old City. The décor and environment is very nice. The employees were unfriendly. The coffee was way too hot and tasted burnt and charred. My wife thought the coffee was extremely bitter as well. This coffee shop has too many quirks to be rated an excellent coffee shop.

Visited here in the Reading Market, where they have a stall with coffee (of course) and other goodies. I just needed coffee, so can only comment on that, but it was great...exactly what I want in a cup, super depth of flavor, fresh and super hot. The foods looked tasty, but we had just eaten so weren't in the mood... More

Great coffee & fresh baked goods. They have salads & other items. Service was great. If weather pemitting there is a few outdoor tables.

I get mine whole bean. Be careful if you take public transportation while carrying ground coffee. People will bombard you with questions about the delightful fresh coffee smell. Or you can just make new friends & laugh.
