I visited Capogiro's a couple of times previously before I decided to order their gelato. Firstly, it's extremely costly for the gourmet gelato they serve. The serving sizes are tiny, so there's no point in sharing. As far as the quality, I have to say that is extremely fresh, fragrant, and flavorful. My favorite combination so far is the Thai... More

Unique menu with great variety (for what you'll usually find in America, anyway), and a more-than tasty selection. Most likely going to have to search for street parking, but to us it was worth it. Definitely will go back on my next trip to Philly.

Really. In philadelphia. Best. I paired the vaniglia with a burnt sugar while my wife put mango on dark chocolate. Always pick the cinnamon and the salt if they are available.

Great gelato with a variety of flavors. A nice size place with adequate tables. I would go there again, especially if in the neighborhood.

I was hanging out with friends. So we thought of having something sweet... we went there it wasn't that much as we'vr expected especially me... it has a high ratio quantity and quality price... a small quantity...and the taste is less than good...

Best of Philly for sure. Many flavors of gelato. Smooth, creamy, authentic. Cannot comment on the rest of the menu as we have not tried anything other than gelato. A bit pricey for what you get!

We went to Philly for a family vacation. We went to see all the usual sites and had nice casual dinners out. One evening after dinner we wanted to get some dessert. Stumbling upon Capogiro was the best thing ever. We went to the one on 117 S 20th St. right near Rittenhouse Square (they have a few locations in... More

Great variety of tasty gelato. I didn't actually know about this place before a friend of mine took me there, but I gotta go back some day. Love it!

Highly rated by the food rags and receiving raves both here and abroad by critics. Yes it is very good Gelato, not the best I have ever had, but very good. As it has been a bit overrated it is also overpriced. Worth a stop for as good a Gelato as one will find in Philadelphia.

I love to come here whenever I am in the area. The choices of gelato flavors are fantastic and it is always a difficult decision to make, because all the varieties are so very excellent. Cool, smooth, rich and creamy, it's always a delight to come here with friends or alone!
