Amazing variety

Terrific selection of gelato. Had a flavor that was star fruit with tart lime. So refreshing and yummy!

Conveniently located to several local restaurants. We ate across the street at Zavino and were actually glad Zavino did not serve coffee, since that got us over to Capogiro. They have a large selection of gelato flavors to choose from. The ones we had [nutella, dark chocolate, and pistachio] were especially flavorful and creamy. Servings were very generous. They brew... Great gelato, worth making your way to a great neighborhood where Barbuzzo Rest. lives across the street. Although if you are at Barbuzzo wouldn't you just get the caramel bundino, never mind :).

The gelato is scrumptious! It's as good as it is in Italy. They offer a variety of delicious flavors and allow you to sample them before purchasing your favorite flavor.

While in college I was told by my hall mates that this place serves the very best gelato in the world. I dragged my feet in coming because I'm not a huge ice cream fan. However, I am a convert. Though a bit expensive, the ice cream is out of this world. The flavors always impress me and the texture... More

Most good gelato places will have one or maybe two sorbets for the poor neglected vegan who wanders by. But at Capogiro, 1/4 of the amazing flavours on display were egg and dairy free. There were some extraordinary flavours - canteloupe and absinthe, kiwifruit... Smooth, sweet, extremely tasty. (Not cheap though at around 5.50 for the smallest cup)

We stumbled onto this place while staying downtown for a wedding some years ago, and I couldn't remember where it was. We just spent a weekend a few blocks from here a the Alexander Inn, and re-discovered Capogiro in our walks. We stopped multiple times. In fact we were just unable to avoid going in - even after 11 pm... More

Oprah's favorite. Great product. Whether you opt for gelato or sorbet to. Expensive worth it. Will ship six pints.

Capogiro was recommended to me by some Philly locals, and it was really yummy. I got the Baccio (which tastes just like a Ferrero Rocher) and the ginger. I also tasted the salted caramel and it was very good also. All flavors are made in house and they tasted fresh.
