Finally! Found hazelnut!

I've searched long and hard for haselnuss gelato matching the quality available in Europe, and found it here. Enjoyed a nice small dish, two scoops. And it was perfect.

We love going here for gelato. They have a lot of flavors and let you taste flavors. Our last visit we both tried the dark chocolate- very rich and creamy. In addition we shared a hot chocolate- also very good. In addition they serve coffee drinks, breakfast and lunch.

Capogiro holds its own with the best of Italy and far superior to some of the places I have sampled on my trips to Italy.. For me, a suburban Philadelphian, no trip to the city is not complete without a Capogiro stop. You can see their daily flavors which include classic standards and seasonal innovations on their website. They source... More

After a long day of walking the city, Capogiro's was an excellent stop for fresh and delicious gelato. Capogiro's offers rich basic flavors and new exciting flavors. I tried cioccolate scuro (rich, deep dark chocolate) and capuccino (a light, creamy coffee). My roommate got burnt sugar (a nuanced caramel) and thai coconut (tasted like the beach). Never a bad choice... More

An easy walk from hotels around the convention center. Delightful and worth it even when there is a winter storm raging. Thai coconut milk is only the beginning.

Capogiro offers authentic gelato in both standard flavors (chocolate, strawberry, etc) and exotic (avocado, mascarpone and fig, etc), all of which are amazing. The biggest challenge with the place is that it is so popular, especially in the evening that you have to wait in line. But it's worth it!

Positively the best gelato I have ever tasted in the U.S. Very expensive but so worth it as a splurge.

We agree with National Geographic's Food Journeys of a lifetime, that this is the #1 of the top 10 places in the world (!!!) for ice cream! (Am surmising we haven't been to the other nine...) There was a wide selection of gelato from which to choose... if you also need a caffeine boost, order the affogato (sp?), which is... More

I really enjoyed this street corner gelato store. They had a good selection to choose from including non-gelato items. They serve warm and cold beverages which compliment the gelato really well. The seating is slightly modern and isn't my favorite, but it does the job! The staff was nice and I would go back. The only issue I had was... More
