Fine (H)ospitality at Osteria

We (a set of parents and our two twenty-something children) had an early New Year's Eve dinner at Osteria. I was most impressed with the service we received: everyone from the hostess .. to the maitre d' .. to our server was happy to have us there. They bent over backwards to make sure we were... read more

I expected so much of a Vetri restaurant, perhaps too much. Most everyone else seems to rave about it. We didn't hate it but didn't love it either...

One of the best pizzas in Philadelphia. The rest of the menu is equally great. Everything we tried was adsolutely delicious and done right.

I attended a business dinner at Osteria and found the meal and service wonderful. We had several course family style. The room was well set up and the servers knew when to bring the next course. We never felt rushed or wanting. Thank you

This was our first visit to Osteria and we were very impressed with the restaurant. We really enjoyed the ambience and although our table was in between two others, we didn't feel like we were part of their conversation. The waiter was very helpful in offering suggestions when asked. My husband and I shared the wood grilled octopus which were... More

Entertained 5 customers on a December Friday. The menu is the best in the city. Been to Osteria 6x. Don't be scared of neighborhood, Not the same North Phila our parents always warned us about.

This North Broad Street restaurant is well located to avoid the congestion of Center City. The I-95 exit at Girard makes getting there a breeze on the weekends. Valet parking takes the stress out of that burden. The salumi and cheeses on a board are a nice starter. Pastas were cooked properly and the fish and meats selected by others... More

I went here with my wife and co-workers for a holiday meal. The ambience is nice, welcoming and a little loud. We were put in a quieter place outside the main room. The wait staff was excellent. We got several plates and shared them. The grilled vegetables appetizer was impressive in its size, presentation and taste. Most of the dishes... More

Never having been to Philadelphia, I researched restaurants. Osteria Philadelphia seemed good with location, atmosphere, and food offerings. It exceeded my expectations! The service was phenomenal, and the menu offered the unexpected. The shaved Brussel sprout salad was light and tasty. The lobster pasta was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic place that does Italian justice. Philly has a crap ton of Italian restaurants around the city ranging from low end to high end. But I don't think any of them does meats and pasta as well as Osteria. We started off with a vedura mista which pretty much had every vegetable, grilled, pickled, sautéed on the menu. The variety...
