The atmosphere was great - we enjoyed dining there but the food was not great. It was ok... I ordered a turkey burger - which I love when restaurants have on the menu - but there was something in my burger (not listed in on the menu)... I think it was pickles (so gross). Wasn't thrilled with the food, but... More

It was a little hard to find down a small side street, but it was busy. We came here twice for lunch during a 3-day trip to Philadelphia. Reasonable prices, and good food.

Stopped here after walking around downtown PA. all afternoon, very busy, loud atmosphere, good place to get drinks but the food is mediocre. My advice eat elsewhere if your really looking for a great meal.

Very busy, but very friendly. Excellent fish 'n chips served hot and quickly. The beer sampler was HUGE! makes sure you take a friend to share it with. Classic Irish Pub - even better on St. PAtrick's Day weekend!

Stopped in here on a Tuesday night, and did not know that there was a special for wings. Ordered the medium wings and was not dissapointed. They were very good. The place was a little hard to find, but worth the effort, it is on Drury St. off 13th, just south of Market st. It was a bit crowded for... More

We were stormed stayed in January and just found this place by accident. What a find! Really nice pub but the staff were excellent. The door staff were exceptional. The Eagles were playing the Saints so the place was PACKED. We got out before the game started to give some seats to a young group celebrating a Birthday. Would love... More

I thought 4:30 on a Sunday would be a quiet time to try McGillin's. Boy, was I wrong! But it was a fun kind of loud. For a sports bar atmosphere, the food was good. Had the French Onion soup and the "steak and cake"--little filet mignon and a crab cake with fries and grilled veggies. On the salty side,... More

Fun spot in Philly. The place gets packed and rowdy on Wednesdays for karaoke and is usually standing room only but it's a healthy fun spirit! Crowd is young--late 20s and early 30s mainly. Staff is friendly and so are the patrons!

Great food, staff, and prices. The R.B. McGillin roast beef sandwich was OUTSTANDING! And one of the best fried pickles I have ever had.

We chose this place as it was relatively close to the Prince Theater and had a kids menu. We had the hummus platter and potato skins then hamburgers, fish & chips and the German sausage platter. Nothing was bad - definitely under seasoned, but not bad. With all the places nearby, there's no real reason to go back.
