Been coming here of and on for 14 years.... We were going to go to Shake Shack for lunch but picked the pub to see how their food comparied with all the new competition. We were happily pleased. The Steerburger was worth the trip.

I think the Irish Pub has a great atmosphere up front. Where the tremendous bar is located. As a bar I would rate it higher but for dining it was about average. By no means terrible but does suffer by comparison with the nearby Rittenhouse Square restaurants in walking distance. I always try to visit at least one Irish style... More

i had a friend visiting from England and she was looking to have a simple lunch with a glass of local beer. We found the right place. The service was excellent and very friendly, giving us advice on the beer and the food. The other patrons seemed to be enjoying the place also. Felt very comfortable in the Pub right... More

I've eaten here before and from what I can remember the food is pretty good but usually this is a place to meet the guys for beers on the weekend - usually the first or last stop on the night out.

My chicken sandwich was bad from the chicken to the cheese to the bread. My husband's fish and chips was, in his words, a step above Gorton's frozen food. Service was friendly & efficient. Good beer specials though!

Food was fantastic! Service was great. The music was a little too loud so we had to move our seat, but the waitress was very accommodating. Would recommend and will be back.

My wife and I ate here based on it's write up in the Philadelphia Guide in our hotel room. She is European and I lived in Europe for 10 years. The Pub has a great decor for an Irish Pub and restaurant. I haven't seen the small tiles used on the florr in a restaurant in many years. The paneling... More
