This is one of the best Halal restaurants in Philly

I had my grand-daughter with me and she only eats Halal meats and Saad has such a huge menu that we ate there twice during our 7 day visit to Philadelphia. The lamb is sooooo good and tender, the chicken was delicious and there are so many choices. Our table was full of the many dishes I just had... read more

I will make this is one short: Saad's is good, fairly priced, and friendly. Forgot to mention It is very good. Saad's cleverly delivers that unique taste of the Middle Eastern food. You can't go wrong here.

This place serves a district demographic. If you are not part of that they go out of their way to demonstrate that you are not welcome. The staff are rude. The patrons are even ruder. Very difficult to get and keep a seat. If you go pick up your food and leave your seat it will be taken with no... More

I come from a city packed with Middle Eastern foods and a lot of trial and error in finding a great restaurant. Saad's was great, to put it shortly. Pros: -Good food quality -Restaurant was packed all the time (a sign of their great food) -Prices were OK, not cheap, not expensive -Service was OK Cons: -Small location -Philly steak... More

I liked the chicken Maroosh - it was everything that it was touted to be. I also tried their chicken wings with garlic sauce - this reminded me of the broasted chicken and toum combo we get back in the Middle East. I also had Orangina which was a drink I loved as a kid growing up in the Middle... More

Love the cheese steak hoagie (hahah... it comes with some vegetable compared to just philly cheese steak). The portion is big and they are generous with the topping. It is just so good that I will be tempted to drive 2 hours from NJ to come here again!

The lamb felafel, which is similar to a kebab, is great! It was a good lunch experience and the menu is not overpriced. It's a great option in West Philadelphia to enjoy Middle Eastern food. The portion size was also correct. Not too big, and not small either.

Saad's is a great Halal restaurant and anyone looking for an ethnic meal with plenty of flavor and huge portions will love Saad's. My family has been going here for years and they have never disappointed us, nor have they every forgotten our faces. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and uniquely flavored. Discovered this gem with my parents when we were hunting for good Middle Eastern food in Philly. The same guy is almost always working and he is amazingly friendly and sweet. The food is delicious to say the least and big portions. I always get the chicken sandwich with a spicy garlic sauce, too die for. Very reasonable as well.... More
