If you have ever been in Philadelphia you know that there is an Irish Pub on every other corner. We were staying at a hotel up the street, and were looking for a decent lunch before going to the airport. It was raining and we did not want to go far, so we headed for the pub(that and my husband... More

Walked in and the place was full of suits having beers after work. Reminded me of London on a week night. The pork belly appetizer was crispy, rich, and savory but a small enough portion for one person to not compromise dinner. For an entre, the lamb French dip wasn't a mistake; the jus was amazing. To sum up: Upscale... More

Been here a handful of times, most recently happened to walk in during a Union game. If you love soccer, this is definitely your place. The Reuben is outstanding, the beers are cold, and the best part is you get to seat yourself (either get there early or hang around with a beer until the games over). Its awesome, the... More

Went to FADO last night for the first time. I'll be back. This bar/restaurant is conveniently located a block from the theaters. So, if it's a weeknight and you're in the city for a show, this is the perfect place to grab a quick bite and drinks. The great thing about this place is the layout. You can have a... More

After watching an afternoon basketball game in Philadelphia, our party of five went to Fado's for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised at how well everything was. Everyone in our party raved about the appetizers that we shared. The main meals were also excellent, whether a burger or a full dinner plate. Finally, we split a couple of desserts and they... More

Needed a quick meal before a show and we let the waiter know we were in a rush. He was very mindful of that and our order was delivered very quickly. Food was great. I ordered the fish and chips (you have a choice of thin or thick cut chips) and a side of cole slaw. Hubby got the shepards... More

We went to watch a soccer match early on a Sunday morning and had a great time. Great atmosphere and drink selection especially so early in the morning. It is the only place I will watch soccer in Philadelphia ever again.

We first visited Fado Irish pub during their happy hour on a Tuesday. Their happy hour menu offers $4 small plates and Smithwicks, Newcastle, & Yuengling Drafts between Monday - Friday from 4-7 pm. We were pleasantly surprised by their selection of beers and good food. Definitely try their Slow Roasted Pork Belly and Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. Fado also... More

We went on a busy Saturday night and parked ourselves at the bar for a few hours. They has a good selection of beers on tap and the bar staff were very friendly. After a short time, it started to fill up and we found ourselves in the middle of a rocking good time. A good place to party.
