Reading Terminal is a great spot to shop, browse and eat. Bassets Ice cream is delicious and not to be missed. I frequently go into the city early just to eat there before work or after work. Shanghai Gourmet has good Chinese food ready fast. Take some time to soak it all in and enjoy. It is a... read more

The fresh, homemade doughnuts, made by the Amish are "melt in your mouth" awesome! I try not to eat carbs and I had two! You can watch them being made.

It is a great place to venture to and there are so many small stores to try but if you can't deal with crowds than skip this trip.

We went here looking for a great Ohilly cheesesteak sandwich. We were blown away! So many different vendors of all kinds. Italian, Greek, Asian, seafood, etc. not to mention the ice cream and dessert choices! It was such a fun experience. If you are in the area definitely check it out! The downside...it all closes at 5:00.

Born and raised in Philadelphia - spent my childhood here shopping with parents. The Market has changed its style and vendors over the years BUT never its incredible personality and quality of food and people. You will enjoy your visit!

Thank god this place was right in the center of the city!! It was my savior when it came to getting things like water, snacks, just a quick lunch or breakfast. The only downside is that alot of the vendors require cash only so go in prepared to pay with cash. I spent at least a bit of time every... More

Whoa, what a range of local produce for sale. There are also all kinds of eateries covering breakfast items through to launch dishes. Super food at reasonable prices. Do not miss the only ice cream stand it is super delicious
