Interesting Market

Interesting market with a really great range of groceries, fruit preserves, meat, cheese and wine just to name a few. It's noted as a must see local, historic attraction on Philadelphia's tourism website. Nice food court with lots of tables and seating. Ending up getting ice-cream from Bassett's... read more

The largest food vendor venue we have ever seen -- choices for everyone! You could spend your whole day here just eating and trying different ethnic foods. Colorful and exciting just to smell the aromas and see the displays everywhere you turned. Mangia!

Where do I begin? There is every single kind of food in this market - ribs, burgers, doughnuts, cookies, ice cream, and...of course...Philly cheesesteak! You could eat every meal for weeks here and still not try every place. Plus, there are a bunch of shops (my fave is the beef jerkey place). I only wish my husband and I could... More

Simply wonderful in every sense of the word. An indoor farmer's market with shopping, food stands, and a central place to sit and enjoy all your purchases. Heavy Pennsylvania Dutch influence with outstanding food choices around every corner. Wouldn't change a thing!

Absolutely wonderful place to experience the smells and diverse foods of Philly. We parked within a block at on-street parking kiosk without a problem in late afternoon. They do close at 6pm and many merchants close up early so don't wait to late to come for dinner!

This place is always awesome. Could walk around in here forever and sample some of the more unique things that Philadelphia has to offer. Over the last couple of years they started replacing some of the more generic shops for some Philly originals and it has vastly improved. Go there and just go up and down the aisles and taste... Two of our favorites within the Terminal were Molly Malones - a great place for craft beer where you can either drink it there or get it to go; or to sit down and eat come excellent sliders. You might also like the sweet potato fries with a side of marshmallow dipping sauce. After munching away, save room for Bassetts... More

As usual the place was mobbed and food was great. We had Dincs beef brisket sandwich with sharp provolone and chocolate coved chips and pretzels from another vendor. Another regular stop in Philly.

I love going to reading terminal market when there is NOT a major event at the convention center. Since I drive up from DE there is a convenient parking garage right across the street. Get your ticket validated and parking is very reasonable. It is a nightmare if there is a major event at the convention center so I would... More
