The Reading Terminal Market is outstanding. Whatever type of food you want, you can find it here. Dinic's has amazing roast pork and beef. Beiler's has terrific doughnuts. L.Halteman is an amazing vendor with some of the best bacon you will ever taste. Down Home Diner and Dutch Eating Place offer... read more

This was located so close to our hotel ans the prices weren't to bad. We actually ordered a Philly steak cheese sandwich and it was so good. We couldn't stay to long but it was really cool place to explore if your a true foodie!

Plan a late morning visit to explore and enjoy a great lunch. This market has a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Select everything from crafts to groceries and wonderful lunches and desserts, fudge, candy and more. On Sundays, many shops are closed.

Not as chi-chi as Torvehallerne in Copenhagen and not as sense-drenching as Boqueria in Barcelona, but well worth the visit--especially for a quick bite. I shop here most Saturdays for fresh vegatables (cheaper than Whole Foods) and cheese (better quality than Whole Foods). Crowds can be overwhelming when popular events are happening at the Convention Center (eg., the Flower Show).... More

If you don't like crowds, avoid the Reading Terminal Market on a Saturday. It was packed with folks having a meal and shoppers picking up goods. It was also packed with tourists checking out the stalls. The Beiler Donuts were only so so but my kids enjoyed waiting in line and seeing the huge variety.

So I love the terminal for the variety of food and items. I hate the terminal cause it is always packed. I love the terminal for the diversity. Hate the terminal as it always packed and people lose all manners when it comes to being hungry. I love the people that work in the terminal that put up with the... More

It's a philly landmark, a large variety of foodstuffs from Amish made to fast food to cheese stakes to gourmet fare... If your around the area stop in. Gets very crowded around lunch time.

No matter what you are in the mood for, this is a great spot. Cheese steaks, pretzels, donuts, chocolate, bakery treats. Arrive hungry, and then enjoy! The pretzels were a major highlight, and the donuts looked great but the line was too intimidating. Prepare to be in throngs of people on the weekend. Closes at 6 but some places earlier... More
