So many great choices!

Fair Food Farm Stand had great cheeses, Tommy Dinics for a sandwich, Metropolitan Bakery for bread, ice cream at Bassets, and cookies from Famous 4th St Cookies. Saw tons of other places to go, but these were fabuluous!!!

I have been going here since the 1940's. Mom took us here several times a year. If you can not get it here, you can not get it anywhere. Best selection of meats, produce, fish, available. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner here.

So much to see, smell and take in. Got a great beef sandwich at DiNics. Left with additional cookies, candies and a cobbler, guess I'm going to the gym tomorrow!

The Reading market is certainly a good place to have a snack / lunch, and has a good variety of stalls / eating places. Shopping for food is really quite good here and not only fresh but prices seem competitive

What a glorious place to have your taste bud tortured with opportunity. A person could spend a week here sampling food and shopping for unique PA creations. This is a fun place that bears repeated visits and lots of purchases. It seems very active and busy and possibly worth visiting no matter what the meal you are after.

There is something for everyone! Yes it's crowded and loud. Get your Philly attitude on when you step inside and enjoy the diversity and outstanding foods. My favorites are the Greek stand, crepe stand (savory and sweet ) try a cheesesteak in a crepe. Amazing ! And of course Philly's finest roast pork with broccoli rabe and sharp provolone or... More

We took a guided tour of the market. The guide was very informative and we were able to see the highlights. We stayed after the tour to eat and explore. Great place to visit.

We had great time eating breakfast at this place. They give you so much food, just by looking at it you may feel satisfied. Make sure you tell them ahead if you are not into good amount of butter. There was a line but they do serve pretty fast and the line keeps on moving.

Being from Philadelphia, I've grown up visiting this historic landmark over the past 40 years. Nothing I can write in here will do this place justice. This is one of those places that you must truly visit to experience the flavor, nuances and taste of what makes Philadelphia a must visit city on your journeys. Go hungry and leave satisfied...
