In the heart of Philadelphia on Filbert Street is the New Old Reading Terminal Market were purveyors of local foodstuffs near and far gather to sell their wares. Outstanding, affordable, great tasting food. Organic, fresh produce, Lancaster County Amish, Old fashioned candy, 60 different types of olive oil, olives, honey. Cheese Steaks, Greek Food, Pastries galore. Hard to please palate?... More

Love Reading Terminal Market! You can find just about anything there. Love the food especially the Amish breakfast station and their bakery. Please note the Amish are not there on Sundays. I have learned to travel with a cooler so I can take away so many great food items.

Stopped and got food, cookies and some Easter candy goodies, granted I went on a Sunday and the Amish booths were closed. To congested, not enough seating, good food and baked goods, but prices were ridiculously high

If you are used to European food markets, this indoor market will probably not be something special, but if you are looking for lunch anyway, it is worth it. Insanely crowded and only a few places offer an area to sit.

This was a great place to grab a quick lunch for a reasonable price. We ventured here because it was in the movie National Treasure, but the food, especially the fresh squeezed orange juice and donuts made the visit well worth it. Also had decent candy and spice shops. Overall, an eclectic place with a great atmosphere.

The food stalls here are so good and you never get a bad meal here. Basset's has the best ice cream and they really load it on. Remember to get a waffle cone when ordering. Carmine's has the best cheesesteaks in the market and the line moves fast, Beiler's doughnuts should not be missed and if the salted caramel doughnut... More

I entered the Reading Terminal Market when it opened at 8am and loved the bright colors and the variety of food and offerings. I just love places like this: a feast for the senses! I walked around a bit, snapped a few pictures, and vowed to go back a little later. Well, what a difference a few hours makes! When... More

We were going to the Flower Show at the Convention Center so the Reading Terminal Market was right across the street. There are so many food stands and food choices. Make sure you go Wednesday thru Saturday because there were many more stands open. Defintely go hungry!!
