We went around 1pm on a Saturday and it was busy. But still plenty of room to get around the entire place. We each got stuff from different places as we wanted different foods. If we lived in the city I am sure we would stop by to get fresh meats and vegetables weekly.

I was smiling as soon as I opened the doors.....upon smelling fresh flowers and seeing all the different goodies....I took off walking the perimeter of the place just to take it all in.....after a short stop I was ready to make my purchases at the different vendors. I was very delighted with everything in the market place. I was however... More

Awesome place to wander and eat at a few places. Cheesesteaks, turkey meals, oysters. You want it? It's inside Reading Terminal Market. Certainly a must. Reminds me of Westside Market in Cleveland. Seating can be limited on busy Saturdays and Sundays, but there are a few parks around that you could walk to for a nice outside lunch.

Our hotel wasnt far from here so we had breakfast 3 out if the 5 mornings we were in the lovely philadelphia! We noticed a queue to eat at the PA Dutch diner and decided to give it a go...food was lovely, home made jam and real butter not that whipped stuff.

Lots of places to eat, lots of different types of food, lots of vendors selling stuff. Looked like lots of locals come here to eat. The Amish donuts are to die for . . . If you can't find something to eat here, then you are the problem . . You can catch a cab to get there and to... More

What a treat to walk through Reading Terminal Market! So many different food choices; something to please all palates. Just fun to spend time walking through even if you don't eat! Definitely will return before I leave Philly.

You must stop here at least one day during your stay. Not only can you choose from countless types of cuisines, the food is delicious and inexpensive. Also, this is such a lively place with a lot of hustle and bustle and the local vendors are very friendly.

This was one of my favorite places we found in Philadelphia. This is an entire market of eateries ranging from as basic as deli sandwiches, Reuben's, cheesesteaks, lobster rolls, Chinese food, all the way to Indian food. Many of the places are good, serve you quickly, and it's just a fun place to try different foods from the city. I'll... More

Visited the market at my wife's request. It is a large market with lots of produce, meat, cheese, wine. and restaurant vendors. We ate at a salad bar and it was fresh and tasty. Also got a cookie from the cookie vendor. It was a cookie, nothing special. I do not know why it is such a tourist attraction as... More
