Lots to see and sample

Tons of different vendors with anything you could imagine to eat available. Grab breakfast or lunch or do your grocery shopping. Fruits, veggies, dairy, meats, desserts all there. A number of Amish shops are here as well. Bus stops nearby to convenience.

Really you have the choice of many, many places to eat when you enter Reading Terminal Market; I would compare it to Pikes Market in Seattle and Granville Market in Vancouver. My only advice is to go when you are hungry; there are so many delicious sights and aromas. There are also several nice shops located here. I ate here... More

My favorite spot here was Dinic's, but there are a lot of places worth checking out. If you are wanting donuts from the Amish bakeshops though, don't go on Sunday.

I love going to the reading terminal market for awesome food, snacks, and amazing little gems. You can find anything from great pretzels to a good cheesesteak or delicious roast pork sandwich.

I have never seen so many options for food in one place, it's great! Not many options for shopping though.

Great place to shop for produce, meats, local foods, A taste of real everyday Philadelphia with a rich history. My great-aunt, born in 1885, used to shop there and get Bassett's ice cream and Spataro's buttermilk and sandwiches. The Amish stands and the farm produce in warm seasons. We used to shop there several times a week (the closest thing... More

If you are in downtown Philadelphia you have to go to Reading Terminal. It has a variety of places to eat and plenty of stands offering produce, meats, candy and many other things. If you have never been there then you have to go.

Here you can buy every Goode you need. Bread, vegetables, fruits, meat, dairy, spices, you name it. There is a book booth selling food books. And some flower shops. Also a good place to have a quick meal and chat with local people.
