Was really disappointed not only in the food but in the décor. I expected beautiful surroundings since it is in the Hyatt/Bellevue Hotel. But it reminded me of a neighborhood deli and the food was over priced and over rated. Would not frequent again.

Stopped in on way to theatre for a lobster special and were totally underwhelmed by most of what was presented. I still like the steakhouse vibe but the meal did not meet with expectations or the price. The lobster bisque was rich and tasty and the meal went down hill form here. The lobster didn't look like the 4lbs promised... More

The atmosphere is very casual and it is definitely not a place to go for a romantic date. The prices are very high. The best value is at lunch where you get the same food for less. All that being said the food is consistently very good. The steaks ate cooked perfectly and the goat cheese mash potatoes are fantastic.

Just returned from the Palm restaurant in Philadelphia for their annual lobster special for two. I've been there for the past 3 years for this event and it was always excellent. Well tonight is the last time I waste my time and money. When we entered I mentioned that it was very quiet and it is usually noisy and bustling... More

The only place that I will order lobster. In addition to their yearly lobster special every summer they have a special waiter that completely shells your lobster so there isn't any mess. Everything is good. Not only for tourists, I live in Phila. and go there regularly.

I am torn with this restaurant. The atmosphere is not very romantic if that's what you're looking for. The prices and servers give the place an expensive vibe but the décor and set up suggest more casual than fancy. Steaks are served a la carte. The sides are served family style so you're meant to share. Desserts are big. The... More

This was my first time having dinner at The Palm and it certainly will not be my last time. The restaurant had a great social vibe and our waiter was great too. They have a summer special, which is 9 oz. filet and lobster, choice of soup or salad, and a shared side dish. First of all the filet was... More

We were looking for a good steakhouse to eat at after a show at the Kimmel Center. The Palm is a block from the center and seemed to be a good fit. It has a great history, so if you get a chance to read about it on their menu or on line you should. The decoration of the inside... More

We ate here for our Anniversary Dinner and our Steak Oscar was delicious, it was topped with fesh lobster. The sides of brussel sprouts and spinach were perfect. Our waiter, Norman, suprised us with a complimentary dessert with a candle and a bowl of fresh berries, perfect meal and service.

My husband and I decided to dine at the Palm after a 2 'clock play last week. The service was excellent but the food too pricey for the taste. I had the tuna steak and my husband the crab cakes. The sides were priced extra. The meal came promptly but the atmosphere also was a disappointing. For $110.00 with only... More
