One of my favorite places for lunch. The warm hospitality from the time you walk in the front door till the time the waiter arrives to take your order are all A plus. At this time of years treat your self to the best flavored oysters, tasting as fresh as they were from the ocean. My Caesar salad comes with... More

We were in need of a good Steakhouse for a party of 16 on 24 hour notice - so I was a little nervous when The Palm popped up as available on OpenTable. Then, reading the very mixed reviews there, I was even more so. There was no reason to be. We had great steaks, lobster, carpaccio, bacon, etc., etc.... More

Downtown Philly has every "high end" restaurant / steak house (albeit, chain restaurant) you can think of .. Morton's, Ruth Chris, Capital Grille, etc.. They are all here.. ONLY "The Palm" gives you great service and a great meal in a great atmosphere.. These folks are pros.. Ask for Randy. He is their "best" server.. I now go here nearly... More

Let me start out by saying I am by no means cheap..but the Palm is very overpriced. I also feel that when you go to a nice restaurant the food should be seasoned by the chef....period. Not seasoning the food is a MAJOR violation. I got scared when I ordered a steak and they brought out A-1....which I almost had... More

This is one of my favorite places in philly. We are always treated well, though my picture is not on the wall, The drinks are great, the food never fails, and service is always excellent. We usually see if we can get Norm as our waiter. I recommend joining the palm club as it is worth it. If I worked... More

The Power Lunch on the menu was wonderful. For $26 (plus tax and tip) we had the choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. The choices were plentiful and delicious. The sides were served home style and constantly refilled. The breads were delicious. We all took home food. This restaurant is heartily recommended.

For all the hype and the reputation, The Palm (Philadelphia) was a disappointing experience. Perhaps the fact that it was Valentine's Day contributed to the negative experience. Dinner was rather rushed by up-scale restaurant standards. The drink were very good - well made, high quality & priced as expected. We ordered the 3 lb. whole lobster & 14 oz. filet... More

Located in the beautiful Bellevue Stratford, The Palm must pay a pretty penny for this prime real estate. So it makes no sense to let that expensive square footage get so grimy. I know, I know, it was lunch and the harsh light of day does no restaurant any good. But this is an expensive, high end restaurant with an... More

My wife and I had dinner at Palm last week in Philadelphia. Although we had a good meal we were not knocked out by the overall experience. The meal moved a bit too fast for our liking. We tried to sit a the bar and have a drink before dinner to slow the pace but there were no seats. 4... More
