First, the volume of conversation is very high and it was difficult to speak with the other at our table. Secondly, the food was mediocre at best. It's a place to see and be seen, mostly lawyers and judges. But don't go for the food. The steak was tough, salad basic and service uneven. I would recommend other steak houses... more

We ate at the Palm 2/19/08 and it was a great meal. Service, food quality and quantity were excellent - in my opinion the Phila Palm compares favorably to Sparks, Del Frisco’s and Philly’s own Barclay Prime. While the steaks are the star of the menu - try the crab cakes for an appetizer they are wonderful. more

Was just at the Palm last Saturday night. One of my all time favorites. Food,service, and their carrot cake ... can't be beat - best ever. Whether it be steaks or seafood, the food is always right on. Good choice! more
