Delicious BLT - Huge Menu

Well, it's typical gruff pizzeria service but the selection and the food are good. Got a late night BLT that was very simple but tasty and featured a lot of bacon. Hard to go wrong with that!

Instead of a Philly Cheese Steak I opt for a chicken version hoping it is lower calorie (probably not though). I ordered mine with peppers and onions. It came with melted cheese too. It was absolutely delicious. It was also a foot long. I wasn't expecting it to be so big. I could have eaten the whole thing but because... More

not the best place to eat but cheap and quick, located across the street from the hotel made it easy to get quick meal. I wasn't to impressed by pizza being reheated in the oven.

We were tired and it was close and didn't want to spend the big price in the hotel. The food was basic and good and the staff pleasant. They gave us good advice for ice cream!

We stayed across the street at the Double Tree 6 nights and ate here 3 of them. Their cheesesteaks are simple, non-greasy and made fresh in front of you. We did not try the pizza, but it looked great and was huge in size by the slice compared to the price. I saw negative comments about the attitude of the... More

I had the cheesesteak special for $9 with fries and a drink and what I actually got was a steak sandwich with no onions and no cheese. The fries were soggy and undercooked. The cooks need to be trained how to make good subs. The bread was stale tasting and cold. Luckily I went to Jim's Steaks and Tony Lukes... More

I had just checked into the Double Tree Hotel in Center City. Across the street was Mama Angelina's. Not much to look at but the place was packed and that was enough for me to pay a visit. There was no room to sit so my cheese steak was to go. Not a bad price and a great steak. If... More

There were four very hungry people on a Sunday night after The Who concert. It was 11:15 and the bar we were at had already closed the kitchen. Actually that is always an issue in Philly, restaurants don't stay open very late if you are looking for food. Our daughters boyfriend got on his phone and knew places that might... More
