Very solid! I'd definitely come back! Nice little place I found thanks to Yelp! Owner is friendly guy with a big Philly accent who may greet you while you enter. The downstairs is cozy and inviting and just what I was looking for. After my mother was done flirting with the owner, we sat down and had a delicious margherita... More

Definitely worth a visit! The owner came by twice to make sure we were happy. Everything was super fresh!!! The basil, herbs, infused oils - all excellent. Delicious salads, pizza made in front of your eyes, superb veal parmigiana, reasonable prices. This is a small restaurant with perhaps 10-12 tables. Parking is an issue in this area. We could not... Service was very quick and friendly. We ordered the farinatta bread appetizer, which was absolutely delicious!! We also ordered pizzas - overall, the brick fired bread/dough was amazing - I would highly recommend it. We also had a canoli, which was so good, I had to order extra to-go. Our waiter was quick and attentive. We will definitely eat here... More

Was there with a party of 7 for dinner (family and friends). The food was absolutely delicious - starting with the soft warm bread served at table, then the veal and sage ravioli, which literally melt in your mouth. The portion size is not huge, but every single bite was heaven. The menu offers many varied gourmet-quality options. However, the... More

Large menu of top notch Italian dishes, but the service and friendliness of the staff is why you'll be coming back often. They treat you like old friends and always remember you from your last visit. It may look like a pizza place when you walk by (and they do have good pizza) but there's ample seating on two levels... More

Philadelphia has such an abundance of great restaurants. I first visited with my daughter in the summer of 2012 during college orientation. She now calls it "our restaurant," We returned last weekend with my father as well, and were not disappointed. First the trio of Bruschetta, traditional, eggplant, and the sublime, strawberries and goat cheese. is fantastic. The pastas were... More

Was up in Philly for a high school regatta for my daughter and some of her friends. They wanted PASTA! Found this place on-line with great reviews. We were not disappointed. Parking can be a challenge but even if you have to park a couple of blocks away, it's a fun neighborhood so the walk isn't half bad. One of... More

I purchased a groupon or living social deal thinking what the heck lets try a new place. I am sooo happy I did. Even though parking is a nightmare and making a reservation would be wise...we lucked out and only had to wait may 5-7 minutes. The food was phenomenal. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure our... More

Whether you are looking for pizza or fine northern Italian cuisine, you have come to the right place. This restaurant serves absolutely the best pizza I have ever tasted. The crust is exquisitely thin and delicious and you may choose from a large selection of gourmet toppings. The dinner menu offers a marvelous variety of dishes from pastas to seafood,... More

Food was average or a bit better. There is a take out pizza area in the front and tables in the rear which look like a luncheonette. Not wild about South Street after dark as it can get a bit crazy. Fine place for a quick meal and or pizza, nothing more.
