This is hands down my favorite breakfast place anywhere. Blueberry pancakes with a side of apple cinnamon French toast and fresh squeezed orange juice. The coffee is not great so wait and have coffee at one of the espresso places in the market afterwards.

We went for breakfast and like the other reviews said there was a queue, but it does go quick. I had apple cinnamon toast - fab! Husband had egg and turkey bacon which he said was good. Coffee was great. Service fast and friendly. All in all great and if there weren't so many other places to try in the... More

The service was great. Portion sizes are large. The burger was definitely real meat! It was hard deciding whether or not to have breakfast (served until 2PM on Saturdays) or lunch. The apple dumpling covered with whipped cream was big enough to share.

Phenomenal service on Saturday morning with an incredibly busy restaurant! Simple ingredients cooked well, thick cut bacon is to die for. Ample servings for a good price and you won't wait more than a few minutes for your food.

We had breakfast here last weekend, and although there was a substantial line, it went quickly. Had the pancakes and side of scrapple. Loved the pancakes, but didn't care for the scrapple. That's probably just me and not the way it was prepared.

My husband's favorite place for breakfast. The bacon is done the way he likes as are the eggs. My daughter loves their apple turnovers and I like their friendly service. They aren't open every day but if you go on the days they are be sure to stop by.

On a recent vacation to Philadelphia we visited the Reading Terminal Market in hopes of finding a real Philly cheese steak sandwich (we found a great one at Carmin's). But my wife had spotted the Dutch Eating Place when we were walking around and said we had to return there after lunch for dessert. Three of us had the Apple... More

I've only tried the cheeseburger here, but I loved it, as did my wife and 3 kids, very good! Maybe breakfast or brunch next month.

Walking through the Reading Market, I'm always surprised at the line waiting for counter space at breakfast time. Recently I was walking through around 9 AM on a Wednesday and was surprised to find only about half the seats occupied. At last, I could finally enjoy generous portions and good hearty homestyle cooking. Boy, was I ever disappointed. Ordered chipped... More

I had a reuben and it was so good, I can't wait to get another one! The service was great despite being busy. The atmosphere was really cool too as customers were all talking to each other at the lunch counter. Very good experience!
