I had ham and eggs with cheese and toast and loved it. I like really soft scrambled eggs and they were made perfectly. Hubby had a short stack of pancakes and eggs and don't let the term "short stack" fool you, he couldn't finish the two big fluffy pancakes and loved them! We both had coffee and our meal came... This became my favorite place at the market. The first day I had the open faced roast beef sandwich with slaw and mashed potatoes. Way too much food for one sitting but it was great later on as well. Mashed potatoes were homemade and unbelievable. For another meal I had the chicken pot pie. it was really good with big... More

Huge and tasty breakfast, with a large choice at a very good price. The service was fast and nice. If you're in Philadelphia, be sure not to miss it.

According to tripadvisor this was the best breakfast place near our hotel Loews. And it didn't disappoint. It's located in a market with many other eateries, and it's cozy busy. We could sit immediately and the waitress helped us quickly and friendly. They have fresh squeezed orange juice, which I find hard to find. Normally it's fresh squeezed from the... More

I did like my eggs and toast from the Dutch Eating Place, but when surrounded by so many other options, looking back, I would have eaten elsewhere. I have since tried many of the other eateries and feel better options are available. That being said, this is a classic breakfast spot with full service dining.

I don't really know why I picked this restaurant. Maybe it was the dutch outfits that the employees wore. I tried the Cheeseburger with fries. I'm not sure I ate beef. I taste like a lamb burger. I'm a southerner. Where is the beef? The shaved fries where burned and too greasy. I couldn't finish them. The homemade bun was... More

Don't miss blueberry pancakes for breakfast and turkey bacon. They were really great. Be careful with schedules as the Amish are not always there. The market closes early.

I eaten here several times and the food is always outstanding, service friendly and cheap. I am fanatical about the blueberry pancakes. My only complaint are the coffee cups, seems kinda wasteful.
