Wow Yummo!!!!

We searched for this place that we ate at 4 years ago because it was so good! The food is great and the service is wonderful! Breakfast is a must if you are in the area! You may have to wait for a bar stool to open up because it's super busy, but it is totally worth it! Yummy at... read more

This is a very popular lunch counter in the Amish area of the Reading Terminal. This is always the place you hope to find in small town America, where meals taste more like the annual church supper rather than a restaurant. It's Amish run with love and precession. The waitress are hard working and kind. My two favorite things are... More

This was a great place to eat. You get a lot of food for your money and the food is mouth watering. If you're looking for a home-cooked meal, this is the place for it! Just be sure to check the hours before you go.

Go early for breakfast. There will be a line, but they've got a great system to fill the counter. Pleasant old-fashioned service. Farm fresh ingredients. Home style cooking. A Philadelphia tradition.

service was fast and efficient even though there was a queue. The Amish girls were friendly and patient with their many international visitors.

Huge portions of simple home cooked meals. Very friendly staff. Comfortable seating in the busy Reading Terminal Market.

Very friendly hard working staff. The Apple Dumpling was just average as the dough was flavorless. The apples however inside were very good. Could be very good of they fixed the mediocre dough in the dumpling!

Had brunch here after a little touring the city. I had a couple dippy eggs, toast and fried potatoes with some fresh squeezed orange juice. The juice was one of the best glasses I ever tasted. The potatoes were were just a little crisp, yum. This place was bustling, lines to sit and eat and lines for take out. Lucky... More

It's located in the Reading Terminal and a real treat! Portion sizes are huge, so come hungry or split like we did 😄 western omelet, bacon, pancakes, and we had to order the apple dumpling since everyone raves about it. All were great. Don't miss a breakfast here. One thing to note... It is bar type seating, so if you... More

I ate breakfast here twice last week when I was in Philadelphia with my parents. The service was great and I enjoyed the food and so did my parents. This is a nice place to go to with your family or if you are dining alone.
