Really cool space, decent food, slow service.

Went here with some friends for dinner recently and wasn't terribly impressed. I think maybe the point is to slowly enjoy your meal but it was really really slow and we were the only ones in there! Food was nothing special and could've used more spice/seasoning. Enjoyed the wine and company but... read more

Food was nothing special and could've used more spice/seasoning. Enjoyed the wine and company but probably wouldn't go back.

Although the interior of the restaurant is gorgeous, the food is disgusting. This is coming from a Moroccan person who have spent half of her life in Morocco, the food this place serves is NOT Moroccan food from the salads and tea to the couscous and bastilla. The dishes have Moroccan names but what you are getting is a cheap,... More

He thought it would be fun to have the 7 course meal. Everything started nicely but each course got worse and worse. The couscous was soggy, the lamb was really dry and the fruit was very bruised. The service was also weak it took a very long time to get water, order and get our bill.

I read the reviews and was worried about food and service. I have to say I am glad we went. I went with a total of 10 people all in our early 40s. It was a great time. We had fun eating with our hands and trying new food, drinking different wines and of course Hookah. There are no plates,... More

This looks like nothing from the sidewalk, and then you open the door and enter a long, dim room resembling a colorful tent with low tables and banquettes -- you are in another culture entirely. The meal starts with the server pouring warm water as you hold your hands over a raised basin. Four of us ordered the "feast", which... More

Took a road trip to Philly with friends. We already had reservations in place for 8 at Fez. I would suggest it because the place filled up quickly. It was a new experience for me trying Moroccan food. Everything was quite tasty. Your meal starts off with a communal washing of the hands at your table. Apparantely you finish your... More

I was looking forward to trying Morrocan food but the restaurant was so dark, could not see the fixed menu nor the drink choices. We decided to leave before we were waited on because of the gloomy atmosphere.

we love moroccan food, but this was terrible! its a 7 course meal for $25. The first course is a mediocre salad, the 2nd a terrible concoction of scrambled eggs and sugar. One course is a basket of banana and apples! The chicken and lamb aren't great either. The only tolerable thing is a belly dancer. Don't waste your money... More
