Authentic, friendly and fast!

Went there late Sunday evening for a dinner to-go. Very friendly staff and the order was delivered in under 10 minutes! Chose the veg.style Drunken Noodles. As someone else noted here on TripAdvisor - a little oily, but good taste and hot as I like it.

We were on a quick visit to Philly and had heard that Erawan has authentic Thai food. We brought a bottle of wine (it is BYOB) that was warm off the shelf and they immediately chilled it for us. We started with Papaya Salad which was very refreshing. My husband had Chu Chee Scallops which he said were perfect. The... More

I was on a project near Erawan and visited it for lunch three times in the last two weeks. The lunch special is a great value, so I got it all three days. It includes with a fresh house salad (with a nice peanut dressing), and choice of soup, spring rolls, or some other options (I chose the spring rolls... More

The food here is outstanding. I am a huge Thai food fan and this place has the best drunken noodles in the city. Everything tastes very fresh and authentic, and the spices are done perfectly. If you work in Center City, pick a day when the weather is nice and come here for lunch. You won't regret it!

This restaurant is right on the edge of Chinatown, just a few short blocks from the convention center. They are open for lunch and dinner. It is pretty inside with tablecloths. And they accept major credit cards. The food is excellent. Chicken satay is nice and comes with both peanut sauce and a sweet cucumber sauce. The steamed dumplings, with... More

Over a 12 year period I travelled to Thailand approx. 6 times a year (work) and enjoyed wonderful Thai food. While I have found a few places in the US that came close in quality and flavor, few can match the meal I just had at a small little inexpensive restaurant in Philadelphia. Erawan (the one on 23rd St) is... More

We went for lunch and enjoyed our food. I liked the combo of Salad-Appetizer-Entree. However, I was disappointed about their policy of $15 minimum for credit card as a method of payment. There is an ATM availbale if you need to get some cash. I general, we had a good time.

Lunch special is a really good deal and highly recommend. Soup (i forget the name - chicken with tomatoes) wasn't worth eating but the other apps on the menu were delicious like the shrimp and dumplings. The duck entree was good good also except they took a beautiful crispy breast and poured sauce overtop therefore rendering the skin inedible. Overall... More

Erawan was just a 3 minute walk away from our apartment we were staying in downtown Philly so we stopped in one night. What a pleasant surprise! The 3 course meal comes with a choice of appetizers (Curry Chicken Dumplings are great!), Soup or Salad, and a choice of entrees. We tried the green curry with both shrimp and chicken.... More

The staff at this restaurant was very friendly and the service was good. The food was not great. The wonton soup was good with fresh vegetables, but the Tom Kha was bland and watered down, usually has onion, this did not. The chicken pad thai was heavy and greasy, not much flavor and the vegetable green curry was bland, watered... More
