Used to call have dinners delivered, this time were housebound and needed to go out. This was a very pleasant experience. Pasta fagoile was very good, eggplant parmigiana really good and gelato dessert great. Portion sizes were really right. Service was very good without being intrusive. We will certainly go back for more good food in a pleasant environment. We'll... More

I wouldn't say not to go here, but I wouldn't say that you were going to get an exquisite gourmet meal either. It was just your average italian place, the food was fine, tasty, but nothing spectacular. The problem though was that the service was way too quick. I didn't think that was possible until we ate at this restaurant.... More

i happened upon this place last monday on my first visit to philly . and it was awesome! we sat on the patio, ordered pizza and a salad to split. HIGHLY recommended. its located on a cute street with lots of shopping. the wait staff was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent. inside was surprisingly big-it went on forever!... More

We were supposing to go to another restaurant but it was closed for lunch, and nearby we found this one. The waitress was very friendly and patience with us, as we had lack of sleep because of a night flight and a jet lag. We had calamari with kind of tomato sauce. Calamari well done, the tomato tasted too much... More

The food was great more than that it was perfect. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive and the food was delivered in a timeley manner. What let this experience down was the young lady front of house, she never smiled never mad eye contact and showed no interest in customers, as we were leaving she was sat at the... More

After a long day exploring the city, we went looking for a place to eat. This restaurant had decent reviews so we decided to give it a try. First off, I would definitely place reservations ahead of time, but that is not necessary on weekdays. The staff were friendly and inviting, and our waiter was especially kind to us. He... More

We wandered in on a Sunday afternoon and were lucky to have a perfect inside table on the open windows which gave us a people-watching vantage, as the threatening weather made the outdoor seating somewhat risky. The charming hostess and our enthusiastic waitress were more than welcoming. Choosing a signature coal-oven pizza (really does taste different!) and a lunch salad... More

This is not just a pizza restaurant. There is a full bar and extensive Italian food menu. However I can only rate the pizza, until we go back to try other things. We had Pietro's Special which was fresh mozzarella cheese, prosciutto, and lots of fresh arugula on top. Delicious! The crust was thick around the edges, much thinner in... More

I had never had a coal oven pizza before. I got one with spinach on it. I loved it. My union brother did not like it near as much as I did. The service was good except for the hostess having her nose so far up in the air. I have only one thing to say to her, "eye contact"... More
