My husband and I split the lasagna and a pizza. The flavor of the lasagna was great but it was pretty soupy. I prefer my lasagna to have a little more body and not look like it should come in a bowl. The pizza, however, was outstanding. The pepperoni was sliced thick and had a great flavor. The black olives... More

I have eaten here a couple of times. The place has good food and is quite popular among the locals. I felt a little bit crowded on both occasions

A friend suggested Pietro's on Walnut Street for lunch - it was a fine choice. We got there before the lunch crowd, but it soon began to fill up. My wife and I ordered salads, Insalata Florentine ($11) for me and Insalata Mozzarella Fresca ($11) for her. The Florentine was basically a spinach salad with pine nuts, golden raisins and... More

Valet at our hotel recommended this pizzeria for good family Italian food. He was right on, not too expensive and quality was there. So much so that we ordered pizza the next night and walked the 1/2 mile with it back to our hotel. It is in the heart of the shopping area so it makes a great place to... More

Best Brick Oven Pizza. The restaurant offers both Pizza and Entree's as well as a full bar. The staff is friendly and the service is quick.

Great atmosphere, terrific service and the food is excellent. Our waiter took time to converse without hovering. Really enjoyed this restaurant.

I travel to Philly for business every year during December. I just completed my third dinner stop at Pietro's (3 years running) I am always dining solo, so I sit at the bar to eat, but the bartender (Chris) always makes me feel welcomed. The food is really super. I think I have ordered the Chicken Parm every time I... More

I have been a fan of Pietro's for many years, especially when dining with children. However this visit was very disappointing and the place wasn't even busy. Poor service! We sat there waiting for our simple orders for an hour with three small children! Our waitress, sporting an unbuttoned shirt until it was pointed out to her, couldn't manage to... More

During a weekend trip to Philadelphia, my wife and I just wanted a quick dinner, and pizza seemed to be the choice. This being our first visit to Philadelphia we did not know where to find a good pizza place. We consulted the internet and found that Pietro's was close to our hotel. When we first walked in we were... More
