Came for lunch as a suggestion from a friend and absolutely loved the pizza and desserts! Very fresh ingredients and delicious recipes. The medium margherita pizza was enough for 2 people. There is outdoor seating and window seating and the entire restaurant is dimly lit with natural light coming in. Great atmosphere. The service was pretty good too - a... More

Concierge at our hotel recommended Pietro's!! Nice, casual atmosphere and the food was excellent! Fried mozzarella melted in our mouths, small Caesar served the three of us with a bit leftover and the chicken sausage pizza was delicious! Great way to end the day after a Duck tour disaster!!

I recently visited Pietro's on 18th and Walnut in Philadelphia. Neither time was a god experiemce. I really like their Margherita pizza and drinks, but the service was very slow and on this past weekend, the place was not busy at all. There were several errors in the orders. One error was that the shrimp was to be served with... More

Visiting Philly and this restaurant is just round the corner from the hotel. Fantastic pizza with a great crust. My little boy wolfed down his meatballs too!

I stay downtown Philly regularly for work and have tried many restaurants, but this one is by far my favorite. There are tables outside, in the front window, and all along the back of the eatery in booths, or tables. You can also sit at the bar. At peak times you can expect a wait, but haven't had more than... More

We're visiting Philadelphia and happened upon this great place. The food is terrific, the service is super and the prices are reasonable. Sure would like to take this restaurant home with us.

We ate here on a whim while seeking something casual near our Rittenhouse area hotel. I loved the seating near the window so we could people watch. My husband had a pizza and loved it. I had a pasta dish, and it was so huge there was no way I could finish it, plus it was delicious! Our server was... More

We were in the mood for Philly pizza and the hotel concierge told us about this restaurant. Lots of pizzas and pasta dishes to choose from. My son had a delicious pasta carbonara. I split a pizza with my husband You could tell it had fresh ingredients and was cooked to perfection great fresh crust too. The only negative about... More

I would guess there isn't a single item on the menu that isn't well made or presented. We ate a huge variety all over the menu, pizzas (coal fired) superb, salads like Caprese and Rocket also great and pasta like Bolognese also great. Service was good too. Our only concern is that the folks running the front shouldn't be...to have... More

Went to Piertro's Coal Oven Pizzeria our first night in Philly as it was an easy walk from our hotel. Nutshell review: Yummy salad, pizza, and dessert. Would go back. Here's what we ordered: 1. Mozzarella sticks - thumbs up, made with fresh mozzarella with fresh tomato dipping sauce 2. Arugula salad - delicious, simple ingredients but so good. Their... More
