We have been going to Rose Tattoo for 20+ years. It never fails to please. The smoked chicken tortellini is always a favorite. As are the mussels. Desserts are always wonderful. The atmosphere is always welcoming. Each Dining Room is a little different and the plants and flowers always lift your spirits, especially in the winter. On our last visit... more

Good... Used to be one of the only restaurants in the area, but now there are plenty. Try Osteria instead for authentic italian. more

Really, you can do much better in Philadelphia. Oysters were good, but crab cakes were terrible. We were charged for every soda refill, and they added 18% to the bill for tip, when we were a party of 4 with 2 small children. This is a glorified TGI Fridays. more

Food quite good, not exceptional. Absolutely overpriced -- in Philly you can have much more exciting dinner experiences with less money. The restaurant is too crammed with tables. more
