We were in Philly during restaurant week and wanted to go out for steak, we found this on OpenTable and decided it would be perfect since there was outdoor seating available and the ability to reserve our table via the mobile app. (I prefer this over calling, then I know it's right.) It was a surprising success, we left satisfied... More

We were staying at a nearby hotel and called Marmont at the recommendation of the hotel staff. Marmont said they would have a table for 4 for us in 15 minutes, the time it would take to walk there. But when we got there they said they didn't, and were pretty abrupt.

We were in Philly for my sons white coat ceremony for medical school and birthday. Of course he wanted steak as the "rents" were in town so he chose Marmont and a really good choice. We were 9 and all enjoyed our meal. Sarah was our server and did a great job. Liz and I split the Chateaubriand which was... More

Had a lunch here recently with my family on a Saturday afternoon. Nice location for people watching at the outside tables. Food was flavorful and of good quality, portions were fairly small. Beware, they do not list a service charge for parties of six on menu, but they do charge for one!

Found Marmot on TA and gave it a try as it was located within walking distance from our hotel. The restaurant is small with solid black walls and burgundy velvet drapes, flickering candles give off the complete "Dracula" vibe. But don't be scared, the steak here is wonderful! Grilled perfectly as order... with just the right amount of salty charred... More

We split the 12oz bacon blue filet and the Marmont Salad. Both were excellent! The meat was cooked throughout and still very tender.

Ate out with an old friend. They had great drink specials, raspberry Cosmo- $6 that were really yummy! We had the peppercorn steak salad and it was excellent, perfect pepper. I had read the review and asked for less pepper. We had mussles in a white wine and celery broth which were so good. Very happy with the place. Con... More

The cheese steak rolls were delicious. My cheeseburger was the best burger I've had in years. Caesar salad crispy & fresh & delicious. Little pricey.

The Marmont Steakhouse is a small fun bar/restaurant in downtown Philadelphia. My husband and I went there with business associates, and everyone loved it. Several people ordered steaks, others had a the cheese steak sandwich, and another person had a salad. The steaks were cooked just the way we wanted them, and the cheese steak was delectable. The sides were... More

I had the mixed greens with the pepper steak filet..The salad was very good but I wasn't prepared for amount of pepper crust on the steak.. The steak was good but would have been better with less pepper..The service was so-so..not bad but not great. I would go back to try the other entrees.
