The decor was very warm and inviting. The tomato anfd cheese appetizer was good and the plate beautifully decorated. My husband and I asked to split a Caesar salad which was very mediocre. He asked for his tuna to be cooked well done and had to send it back as it wasn't cooked enough. My lamb chops were very thin... More

Nice place to go with friends...all 5 of us ordered something different, and we all liked what we got. Upscale atmosphere, service and food made for a very pleasant evening.

There were 22 for dinner for a retirement party in the wine cellar. A lovely room, low lighting, romantic atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Food was wonderful and we will definitely return.

The lobster appetizer with linguine was excellent. It was full of large chunks of lobster in a creamy light tomato sauce. The Branzino was very large and perfectly prepared. The tiramisu was wonderful. They were very accommodating about limiting salt. The wine cellar downstairs is a sight to be hold, but all the wines on the extensive wine list were... More

Philadelphia has an abundance of good Italian restaurants. However, La Famiglia stands out when it comes to what it means to dine in an atmosphere of absolute class and exceptional attention to every possible detail. Warmth, sophistication grace, ambiance, and an entire staff that treats each customer as if they were the only person dining. As soon as you enter,... More

Four of us went there before going to the Arden, which is 3 blocks away. The layout and ambiance were excellent, and reminded us of the old Le Bec Fin - narrow and deep, with light colored, decorated walls. The placement of the tables was similar. The food was very good to excellent: antipasti, gnocchi, pastas, lamb chops, and veal,... More

This wasn't our first time here, and expectations were high. The place is very nicely decorated; it's relaxing and very comfortable. The service was good- very good. The food was very good, as it has been in the past. What causes me to give a less than perfect score is value. Not for the food- that was acceptable. The sticker... More

My wife and son had decent fish, though barely cooked beyond warm. that's 'East Coast'. My Veal scallopini was so tough, the waiter saw me struggling and brought me a sharp knife. I guess I should have returned it. Salad and soup OK. bread was an embarrassment for a Phila restaurant with so many good bakeries in the city. We... More

Walk through the door and prepare yourself for a wonderful evening! La Famiglia is beautiful, tastefully decorated, has impeccable service and the food was quite memorable. I has a special of a Mediterranean fish that was coated in salt and cooked somehow. It was artfully plated table side. My wife's pasta was also fantastic!
