Very good lunch spot near U PENN

Had a group of seven to lunch comprised of family and friends of family. The inside is divided into many little nooks and rooms which increases the ambiance and reduces the noise. Had a group of seven to lunch comprised of family and friends of family. The inside is divided into many little nooks and rooms which increases the ambiance and reduces the noise. We have eaten outdoors and enjoyed the food. This was the first time inside, and it was surprising how big this restaurant is! Each room has dog art, very eclectric and colorful. The service was friendly and fast and the food was delicicous. It is farm to table and very fresh. Near Univ of Penn and Drexel, so take advantage... More

A very pleasant restaurant. Great atmosphere with cozy and unique rooms. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty and the farm to table philosophy was nice. The menu is good, but does change. The variety covered most bases, but menu was a bit thin. A very picky eater might have to resort to the burger, which... More

I had a business lunch at the White Dog Cafe and really enjoyed the setting. Quirky decor and multiple rooms creates an intimate but still lively atmosphere. The food was good without being exceptional but the overall experience was great. Service is friendly. Great option for that part of town. WIll return

This is such a great place. The decor is really fun and I love all the different rooms. This is a great option in West Philadelphia for fresh, healthy options. The service is always very good and attentive but not overbearing. This time had a beet and arugula salad with shrimp and it was excellent. Love their breads. My friend... More

The street where you will find White Dog Cafe is so cool - and when you hear the story of how the restaurant came to be (ask!) you will be even more taken by its charm. The restaurants many rooms leave you feeling like your table has its own little nook. And if you are a dog lover, you will... More

We had a quick, delicious lunch with local sustainable ingredients - blackened fish tacos, meatball sub, tomato soup and omelette - fantastic. The server was very responsive and helped us to get out on time for an appointment and the ambience allowed for conversation. From the front, it appears to be a small restaurant; however, there are multiple rooms and... More

Visiting UPenn with my daughter, a friend and former grad student told us The White Dog was a must. So glad we listened to her. First, the decor is fantastic, each room gets better. Our waiter had only been there a few months, and he was super. Having not been there before he gave us recommendations that were perfect!! The... More

Atmosphere and food were both nice. Just adjacent to U of Penn. Medium to high priced. Service great.
