Jewel in University City!

The food was quite a great surprise! The decor is so charming, what a find! We had a wonderful lunch with great food and great service. The cheese plate was wonderful, and the tuna tartare was just perfect. The Cuban sandwich came with truffle fries... What more could you ask for? They also... read more

Went twice for dinner, really good, perfect sercice. Lots of taste, portions are not huge but not hungry when leaving. Did not have a chance to try the desserts... Too full... There is a small terrace on the street, very pleasant, and a mise en bouche by the chef while waiting for the food to arrive. Did not wait very... More

My experience here (And pretty much everywhere else!) was excellent!! I went here for a wedding party and they made really amazing food! For the "First Course" I got a crab, lemon oil, and greens soup! I liked it! Then I got cod which i loved! And last but maybe best, Chocolate cake! They also had fantastic bread and butter!... More

Never disappointed, whether dining with business associates or casual lunch with friends. The service is friendly, prompt but NOT intrusive. The menu changes seasonally (farm-to-table done well); and very good options to chose from. I don't think the menu items are over priced, especially for the area and freshness. However, drinks are pricey, but that is to be expected. Overall,... More

This is a popular place near University of Pennsylvania. The pitch is produce (local, organic etc). However, it is a restaurant - so it matters what you do with the produce and this was disappointing. Nothing seriously wrong - just uninteresting. The service was OK but it was irritating that the steak I ordered medium rare was medium and one... More

The food is good but overpriced and they weren't that friendly when assigning us a table. Waiter was nice though. I probably won't eat there again since there's plenty of other options nearby.

Our party of 10 included several children and I feel certain that a good time was had by all. The decor is appealing to me - dozens of paintings of dogs fill the walls. The lighting is soft, but sufficient to read the menu. We were in a large round table in a comfortable corner. Our server was wonderful, with... More

I have eaten here a. Purple of times and the food is delicious. They also make a wonderful Bloody Mary. The street it's located on has several restaurants and iir has a quaint atmosphere.

Really liked this intimate quirky setting, food was delicious and our waitress was great. I had a Tuscan pizza dish and my husband had a rigatoni dish. Both were excellent

Husband and I took my mom here for brunch. The place is so funky and fun inside. Make sure you're entire party is there though because they won't seat you without them. Make a reservation for brunch. Very nice wine list that they'll help you out with. There's a nice bar in the front, tables upstairs and downstairs, plants everywhere..We... More
