Our goal for our vacation was to eat at as many local eateries as possible. After going to a huge 4th of July parade, we asked a police officer to recommend the best local place to eat. We wanted a place where all the locals went and has been around for a long time. Well, that police officer hit the... More

24/7 quality food for a reasonable price. Try the pork roll. It is a strong, round bacon that they grill. Great with their real sliced potato hashbrowns. French toast is also good.

A small diner that is very popular among locals. The food is good. I asked for onions in my cheese omlet and I got them in my potatoes. The onions and potoes were really good, I just mixed it all together (I don't like the taste of eggs, but need the protein). I would definitely eat there again!

Little Pete's sits under a parking garage in center city Philadelphia. One step inside and you feel like you are in a set of Mad Men. It's pure 1960 in the best possible way! You can sit at the counter and the listen to the waitresses banter back and forth with each other or the customers. You can't script this... More

The location was across the street from the Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel where we stayed this past weekend. Little Pete's is open 24/7 but is cash only. It is a diner with a diner atmosphere. The service is very good and the food is good. We did not order anything difficult to cook but the selection looked good. I recommend... More

Had dinner here one night and breakfast once as well. For dinner I had the pork roast which was pretty good but smothered in way too much gravy. Veggies were good though. For breakfast I had French toast with strawberries and bananas. Very good. Prices are reasonable.

We stayed in Radisson across the road on a room only basis. So for breakfast we came to little petes, 3 mornings running as it was soooooo good! What an amazing little diner, the full American experience. We even came for dinner one night, if your in the area defiantly pop in here it's a little gem of a place!

This is the best old fashioned city diner with old favorites that are specific to Philadelphia. Where else can you sit at a counter and order the best breakfast in the city (scrapple, eggs, and rye toast!) while you read the morning paper. This place is like stepping back in time; you can blend with the locals in this great... More

Always a plate of good food, not fancy, but fresh and plentiful. Year after year, these good folks put out a great breakfast at anytime of the day or night!

A tiny diner with a wide variety of patrons from movie stars to weary travelers, go to little Pete's late at night for breakfast. If you sit at the counter, the person sitting next to you may or may not communicate.
