OMG!

The best cannolis in Philadelphia, Try them filled with marscapone cheese, just so delicious. Everything here is wonderful. I swear, you can smell the aroma of this place a block away. If you're in Philly, definitely visit this place.

If we travel to or near Philadelphia, we make it a point to stop at Isgros. The pinogli (pine nut cookies) are delicious, as are the biscotti, and many other pastries. This time we regret not buying more of the almond horns. We find the staff friendly and very helpful if one is not familiar with the items.

We ordered our wedding cake from Isgro's and O....M...G!!! it was perfectly delicious!!! The decorating was beautiful but the taste was to die for. All of my guests commented on how wonderful the cake was!!! I can't wait to eat the anniversary cake next year!!! I think we may even take a special trip to the bakery for a sweet... More

Isgro's cannot and will not be beaten on cannolis. End of story. While there yesterday eating and walking around the Italian Market showing my Mom around we had to stop at this institution of baking. That being said the snow and wind were blowing making shopping a chore. One block away my Mom's nose honed in on the incredible smells... More

I love many of Isgro's sweet treats - my taste buds find their cookies to be the best in the city, period. -- lots of cookie options, always fresh (never stale or dry) and full of flavor and perfect complimenting textures in each cookie. Many write about their cannolis and rightfully so.. very good. Isgro has nice cakes and of... More

I could eat their canollis for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They stuff them right in front of you. Chocolate chips, confection sugar. Anyone that tells you Termini's, with their fruit filling, is better is delusional. I grew up a half hour from here and have been spoiled with their canollis for 40 years. I've had their other parties which are... More

All standard Italian cakes, cookies, pastries are delicious but the "beautiful" comes in the 2nd display case with all their creations. Have to see(and eat) to believe. Ive tasted many and it is hard to pick one over the other but I will for the sake of this rating I suggest my favorite 3: the Peach(when u see it you'll know... More

Born in Philly and having visited the city many times since I moved I do enjoy hitting the old establishments I remembered from my childhood. Isgro’s, like so many other places in the city seem to be losing their touch. I find most of the old places don’t care anymore. This place has some very good pastries, but service can... More

This was my 3rd time here and all 3 times I was treated poorly and rudely by the old women behind the counter. This last time I was yelled at for asking a simple question about their cannollis. Just because you and your business are over 100 years old doesn't give you the right to treat your customers with disrepect... More

Can you smell Heaven? Yes you can at 10th and Christian St. in Philadelphia. I've been coming to Isgro's since I was a kid visiting my grandmother in Philadelphia. I don't get back very often anymore so this is a very serious pilgrimage for me. You absolutely can smell the pastries half a block away. Their display case is gorgeous... More
