Stopped by here Saturday around 3PM for lunch outside on a beautiful day. However! When you are just sitting there waiting for food, the sun gets REALLY hot and the umbrella over our table was not shading anything. We were quickly seated outside where there were 2 or 3 open tables but by the time we were leaving there were... More

While I live in the Philadelphia Suburbs I'm not that familiar with good places to eat in the city, particularly at a reasonable price. This place fit the bill. We met my son there for breakfast and enjoyed great, classic diner breakfast food and coffee. He is a student at nearby Temple University and we now have a "go-to" place... More

All of our experiences have been good here. The menu is so varied, it's hard to find just one thing to try. I had a special burger that was served with fresh cut fries and it was so good. My husband had a shrimp burger and he said it was amazing. The food is always good. The atmosphere is a... More

Fried chicken and meatloaf were really good. The pierogis were outstanding! A cool retro diner cum hipster nightclub vibe.

First of all, I saw this place on Diners, drive-ins, and dives. I was in town for a convention and I decided I had to try it, some my committee members and I did. The cocktails were very inventive and excellent. The food was better. I had the fried chicken with collard greens. The chicken was tender and juicy and... More

Great food, funky atmosphere, very good service and excellent Bloody Marys. My husband had the Pork belly hash, I had the country fried steak. Biscuits: heavenly. Only comment is that the grits very a bit too tight. Could be creamier. This place fills up quickly for brunch. Got there right at 10AM, so no problem getting a table. Free parking... More

We went on a Saturday evening, and the place was pleasantly full. There were so many things on the menu of interest that it was hard to narrow it down, but I had a delicious hot roast beef sandwich with caramelized onions, pepper cream, horseradish with a bowl of au jus, and good fries. Dessert was chocolate banana brioche bread... More

Excellent, varied menu. Certainly not 'diner' food. Had salmon with shrimp and ginger rice, chicken sandwich, skirt steak and roast beef sandwich among the four of us. All were excellent - we were all sharing and tasting each other's plates. Oh and the mac and cheese appetizer was worth it...but could have been a meal unto itself - share it.... More

I had the one of the specials - chipped beef on toast. It was incredible. It came with just a side of greens but even they had a delicious dressing on them. I was a bit disappointed in the size of the portion for $11, I wasn't quite full. The place seems to cater to the drinking crowd a bit... More

Great food horrible service!! The bartender Tom had a nasty attitude from the moment he walked to our table. Our entire time there we were not checked on. However the manager Butch sat and watched as we clearly needed service. Apon leaving we had to pay a tip which clearly was not earned. When requesting the GM contact info was... More
