If you're looking for a trendy place to eat that has good (not great) food along with very good service, The Continental will fill the bill. Best dishes are the calamari salad, and, of course, the french fries. If you have young children, this probably isn't the best place for you.

After a good day of sightseeing, we had a late lunch at The Continental and found their salads to be especially tasty. The Continental has the feel of an old 50s coffee shop with current hipness. The waitstaff was especially helpful. The food was yummy and you could easily share plates.

A funky and fresh place. It was close to my hotel. I tried several dishes ala tapas style. Every dish was excellent. Dessert was good too.

The rooftop is perfect! And check out the philly cheesesteak egg rolls! This is a great location in the middle of a lot of shopping to have brunch or a quick bite in the afternoon.

We didn't want to have anything heavy so we chose salads. I had Spinach Cobb salad & my nephew had calamari salad. Mine had chicken ,bacon& blue cheese, lovely. The calamari salad was huge,& very very good.

I had a perfect Sidecar cocktail and the Aihi Tuna appetizer that was a perfect compliment. The tuna was of a nice portion and artistically arranged. The Sidecar cocktail come with a small shaker as refill. Very nice.

In town with friends for Festival Pier concert and this was walking distance from hotel and the Pier. We loved it so much we went back the next day before leaving town. The lettuce wraps and the chicken skwers were amazing! casual, chic atmosphere - and another bar on other side as well be sure to check out. Bartendar Christina... More

Another regular spot for me in central Philly - retro styling very chic - but good noisy, buzzy atmosphere. In truth it can get a bit too noisy at times - but this is a great place and the food is much better than one might expect. In fact even a sandwich and fries though served casually and diner style...
