Dated decor and uninspiring food

I stopped into this restaurant for a quick bite while waiting to meet a friend. I wanted a table out of the way and away from the window, so I sat at a four-person table at the back of the room. Even though the restaurant was not more than 10% full, the waiter asked me to move to a smaller... read more

Just a place in the "gayborhood" for a casual breakfast, lunch, weekend brunch or dinner. Reliable and reasonable place to go when you're in the area. Just had delicious split pea and ham soup and their turkey burger. Warm and delicious. Just what we needed. Of course, there is the ice cream parlor in front of the restaurant for something... More

Mile high apple pie was incredible ! My daughter & I only managed to finish a third of this monster! I'm ashamed to say that we ended up eating the rest for breakfast the next morning. Don't tell mom! Perfect end to our daddy daughter date in Philly:)

Visiting philly for the second time! While waiting to have my hair cut, I went to this wonderful place! I had 6 scoops chocolate, chocolate banana... it's so tasty...I like this ice cream drop by when you're in Philly or in another state where you find this place and you won't regret it believe me!!! Yummi...

Had a wonderful meal here. They said they are known for their burgers and I believe it. One of the best burgers I have had in years. The ice cream was excellent also. The only dissapointing part of the meal was the service. The server was slow and not knowledgeable about the menu and had to ask someone else to... More

Over twenty different flavours to choose from and configurable cup and sundae permutations should make this a great place to call in for a dessert. But I found the ice cream flavours too sweet and bland, not a patch on what I'm used to in Europe. They offered frozen yoghurt but the server said it had more sugar than the... More

My family comes pretty often (even though they live 45 minutes away) - for the food and the friendly staff. The food is always prompt, hot, and dericious (as the staff says). A lot of their food is prepared fresh on-site (their homemade macaroni fritters are my favorite, haven't ever encountered something like it before). I hear the ice cream... More

The establishment has been there for decades and although it started out as just an ice cream shop, it has blossomed into a full blown sandwich shop. Breakfast starts the day, lunch tides you over and then there is something to put a smile on your face come dinner time. We had a large lunch so we did not want... More

We recently enjoyed a wonderful meal at More Than Just Ice Cream......... The grilled cheese was just what I needed.... Comfort food! Everyone at the table had something different and everyone enjoyed their meal and the very relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes you just do not feel like cooking and this is the place to go

Delicious comfort food - we have not been disappointed yet! The Mac and Cheese is delicious and we are the biggest fans of their banana cake - it is the best. Also love that they serve Richmond's Ice Cream. Neighborhood a little sketchy after dark but we have walked with the family from our hotel. Wait staff is friendly and... More
