Description: Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.

Delicious dinner, great upper room, diverse Latin American menu and mostly attentive waitstaff . . . but there were more screaming babies and kids than I've seen in a McDonald's lately. This could be a fantastic dining experience if crying and screaming were confined to one area of the restaurant. Lamb chops done to perfection. A risotto to die for.... More

I hosted a dinner on a Tuesday night for about 12 people at Mixto. There's a few things that stood out that made this a wonderful event. First, they accommodated our request to eat upstairs, even though the upstairs is normally not open Tuesdays. The service was swift, friendly, engaging, and very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The food was... More

Avi was our waiter and he was wonderful. Our 9 year-old was with us and Avi interacted well with him and talked about his own children. The food was wonderful. Our son liked the empanadas and the Arroz con Camarones. I enjoyed the stuffed plantains as an appetizer (shared with my husband) and the tilapia as an entree. My husband... More

We came here with paella in mind. The lobster was over cooked dry and stuck to the shell. I have never experienced this in any other restaurant, my tilapia was over cooked and very dry. With the certificate of excellence I expected more. The service by the bus boys was excellent however our server had better things to do. Not... More

Mixto is in a two story brick building along antique row in Philadelphia. Short walk from Center City. Restaurant has outdoor and indoor dining. We found the service to be good (some reviews said service had been slow). Restaurant has very good selections for cocktails/wine and the appetizer of shrimp in garlic sauce was excellent. Our main course was pernil... More

Great Sunday evening dinner w/ friends. Our experience at Mixto was great. The food was excellent. The chicken dish I had was stuffed w/ seafood. My husband had their lamb chops... Really great dish. The risotto that came with it was a great compliment to the dish.
