Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.

Lovely Evening

We didn't have a reservation, but didn't have to wait long for a table outside. The lady behind the bar was friendly and informative about the drinks menu. The food and service was very good and the margaritas were spot on. If in the area again would definitely return.

OK, just spent the weekend in Philly this weekend. I stayed at The Alexander Inn. That is a WHOLE other review.......But, went to have a meal at Mixto.........Not a good experience. It was busy on Sunday the 31st January. I was sent upstairs to the bar, due to 1st floor being packed. OK..........Got my drink 20 minutes AFTER ordering and... More

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant! After one visit its already made its way to my top favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. The menu has a lot of selection, great vegetarian options. The drinks were very strong and made well. I highly recommend this cozy, eclectic restaurant!! I can't wait to go here again!

Such great food and drinks I don't know where to start. There is a jalapeno margarita that has just the right bite to it, how's that for a starter? All of them are good and the mojitos are right there with them. In nice weather, dine out front. In the winter, dine on the platform level or anywhere else. The... More

The website states: "Mixto’s cuisine is a mixture of Cuban, Latin American, and Caribbean flavors." This is what brought me in the door of this restaurant. I will return because the food was superb, the staff efficient and accommodating, and the ambiance wonderfully eclectic.

First off, Julio is an amazing host and manager. His recommendations for food were fabulous! My favorite Cuban dish has always been Ropa Vieja and they did not disappointment whatsoever. The decor is very modern and warm. Highly recommended Center City restaurant.

Mixto has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. As a matter of fact, it is my go-to restaurant when I have a friend or someone from out of town coming to visit. I can always expect great service and absolutely wonderful and tasty Cuban/Latin/Caribbean fare. Not only will the food impress you but so will the decor... More

My wife and I ate dinner here on October 31, 2015. Excellent. Our server, Anthony, was attentive and pleasant. We shared empanadas, lomo saltado, and sweet plantains. My mojitos were delicious.

Our party of four tried different dishes for Saturday brunch and came away well pleased with everything except perhaps the din of conversation among apparently satisfied patrons. A Cuban breakfast featured delectable plantains, rice and black beans in a lightly flavored sauce, expertly poached eggs, sweet potato fries, half of a large roast tomato and a huge dollop of soft... We have been eating at Mixto for years now and have never had anything that we did not love whether it was food or drinks! The option of two dining rooms, a bar area and an outdoor area make it flexible depending on weather and occasion. Love their margarita for two!!
