Description: Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.

Went with a group of friends, party of 14. We called ahead and were set up at a lengthy table on the 2nd floor. We got the appetizer sampler (3 servings), which had everything you could imagine, and was fantastic. Drinks were various and delicious. Wait staff had good knowledge of different drinks and gave people exactly what they wanted.... More

I couldn't ask for a more accommodating management/staff. My large group of 9 guys were out for a good time in celebration of my 50th, they drank, ate and enjoyed life. Everyone raved about their chose of food, which had a great presentation, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Thank you, from the Colombian.

All the food was well presented with top notch table service. We had a reservation and was immediately shown to a 2nd floor table. Restaurant was candle lit with great warm decoration and ambiance in the latin style. All food ordered was very authentic, prepared properly and large portions. Grilled octopus appetizer was spot on and this is not an... More

The Sunday brunch begins early (9:30) so that you can have a full day of activity afterwards, and the menu items are unusual, given Mixto's South American cuisine. The portions were hearty and well-seasoned. And they do mimosas with guava juice, which is a simply heavenly combination!

We visited with friends last night. Had to get them to change our table due to being too cramped at the window of the 1st floor. As most places, they should have less tables. The food was very good but the service was way too pushy. They literally took my appetizer away mid-fork so they could give me my entree!... More

I was taken here for a business gathering about 8 years ago. I loved the environment, the friendly staff and the food & drink. I get to Philly at least once a year and a visit to Mixto is always on the agenda. Unique and delicious food is enough to bring you in...and then the great drinks will keep you... More

I was a little tentative at first as I have never really liked latin american/cuban/carribean food but Mixto was surprisingly excellent!! The dinner was a buffet style with 4 servers dishing out the food and the food was exquisite!! There were empanada's with sweet plantains, ensalada, taco's, Trio Ceviche, and many others which I can't remember. The drinks were awesome... More

The Mixto team went out of its way to make our niece's 30th birthday Sunday brunch amazing. Started with fresh squeezed OJ Mimosas, followed by mixed fruit salad (raspberries, blackberries, melon, pineapple and mango). Several of us enjoyed well made Bloody Marys (pepper vodka!). Entrees were excellent and included omelets, French toast, Cuban sandwiches, breakfast burrito, Colombian breakfast (tasty Churassco)... More
