Tried Mixtos on a visit to Philadelphia and it was incredible. Staff, service and food did not disappoint. The Sea Bass was absolutely amazing. I will be returning on this visit or my next!

I went to Mixto with three friends for brunch on a Sunday. We were seated right away since we agreed to sit inside. We had pitchers of passion fruit mojito which were reasonably priced and pretty good. The service was prompt and the food was delicious. I loved the "Colombian Breakfast." Would definitely recommend it.

My daughter picked this Cuban restaurant for a Father's Day brunch. The brunch is available until 3:30. It was a hot day and as the lower portion of the restaurant was open air and very warm but luckily the 2nd floor was air conditioned. The menu was very reasonable priced. The service was excellent as was the food. I can... More

I went with my wife last night to check this place out. We saw it had great reviews. I ordered the chicken empanizado and my wife got some shrimp and sausage with rice. Her meal was good, but I was not really too impressed with mine. First, the cheese sauce they used to smother the chicken was good and the... More

This was our first time at Mixto. We had reservations for 7:15 and it took a couple of minutes to seat us (there was a large party upstairs and they were finishing up moving some chairs around), but we weren't waiting long. Our waiter had some great recommendations for food and drink, and knew the menu very well. We all... More

This was our first time at Mixto - and it was wonderful! We had a 8:00pm reservation and were seated promptly. It was a beautiful evening and the large full length windows were open. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. We started with appetizers - maduro relleno and chicharrones. Large portions and delicious! For meals we had ropa viejos and... More

Several weeks ago I treated a fairly large group of employees to dinner at Mixto. We had a 7:15pm reservation and we arrived on time. We were seated upstairs and our party took up 2 tables. We ordered 3 or 4 appetizers for the table, and ended up ordering 2 pitchers of Mojitos. We all ordered an entree and desert.... More

We chose, based on proximity to our hotel, and random questions posed to strangers on the street: "where should we go to eat?" We sat outside, as the weather was nice; glad we did. Fun to watch strollers and cars go by. Our food ranged from delicious (calamari and civiche) to so-so (the meats on our 'five-item' sampler were simply... More
