Description: Mixto is a two-story natural wood and exposed brick building located on the east side of downtown Philadelphia on the historic Antique Row. We have been opened for ten consecutive years. Our vision has been to bring an array of flavors of the Cuban, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine to the Center City area. We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with bar service and an extensive wine selection. Mixto offers outdoor dining with a South Beach Miami ambiance during the spring, summer & fall when the weather permits.

The Mixto team went out of its way to make our niece's 30th birthday Sunday brunch amazing. Started with fresh squeezed OJ Mimosas, followed by mixed fruit salad (raspberries, blackberries, melon, pineapple and mango). Several of us enjoyed well made Bloody Marys (pepper vodka!). Entrees were excellent and included omelets, French toast, Cuban sandwiches, breakfast burrito, Colombian breakfast (tasty Churassco)... More

We've just had brunch at Mixto and were very, very pleased. Wide variety of brunch items on the menu with a mix of Cuban flair. Great mix of people from the neighborhood, the "gayborhood", yuppies and seniors. We've had dinner before here many times. Always have been satisfied and love the decor & atmosphere. Especially good if you like Mohitos!... More

We went here on a Saturday around 2 pm. Brunch menu was still available. I had egg benedict with smoked salmon, great taste and nicely plated. My wife had a tilapia sandwich accompied with fried plantain. Also this was very good. So overall a place to recommend.

We dropped in for the happy hour and stayed for dinner!!! The service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. The food was very good but not outstanding. It was very well priced. The restaurant/bar has a great atmosphere and both inside and food path dining areas.

This is our second time stopping at this place while in Philadelphia. We enjoyed it this past summer and sat outside, but this time in November, we ate inside, upstairs. So good! Beautiful inside, great service, and wonderful food :) Although this is a Cuban, Latin American, Caribbean restaurant, I was able to find options as I am very picky/plain... More

Delicious dinner, great upper room, diverse Latin American menu and mostly attentive waitstaff . . . but there were more screaming babies and kids than I've seen in a McDonald's lately. This could be a fantastic dining experience if crying and screaming were confined to one area of the restaurant. Lamb chops done to perfection. A risotto to die for.... More

I hosted a dinner on a Tuesday night for about 12 people at Mixto. There's a few things that stood out that made this a wonderful event. First, they accommodated our request to eat upstairs, even though the upstairs is normally not open Tuesdays. The service was swift, friendly, engaging, and very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The food was... More
