Great Food

The food was wonderful, with really fresh ingredients and inspired combinations. The staff was great; traveling with my mom who has a walker, and they sat us quickly and stashed her walker (their space is very limited). The margaritas are just ok, but the food is great.

We really just wanted a couple drinks and some chips and guacamole - boy, were we pleasantly surprised! We got the bacon guacamole - I know it sounds weird (with peas and cheese in it) - but trust me, it's goooooood. The chips are interesting - in addition to the normal corn chips, you get plaintain chips and some other... More

Lunched there, crispy fish tacos were overdone, slaw and sauce too salty, soft tacos were straight out of the package... no one asked if everything was okay, 14 dollars later left still hungry for lunch. Asked for grilled fish tacos, was told they don't do that... asked what kind of fish used, wasn't sure. Not sure if I would go... More

Four of us had a very nice experience at "Lolita", we all had tacos, fish and pork. The fish tacos were good but we would have preferred grilled fish rather than fried fish, otherwise nicely done. The pork tacos were...pork tacos. The salad "Valeria's Chopped Salad" was outstanding, fresh with just the right amount of spicy heat. We all loved... More

Not only is this restaurant located in a fun and trendy part of town that is conveniently located around other amazing things to do, but the food is AMAZING. I ate at plenty of other restaurants while visiting Philly, but this is by far the most memorable. My significant other and I went here for a quick date night and... More

very interesting blend of flavors, without the heavy sauces and overloaded with cheese that might characterize some Mexican retaurants. I cannot speak to the service, for we ordered take-out (travelling with an infant who does not tolerate a sit down meal with the adults). It was so delightful that we had a repeat order out adventure 2 days later. The... More

Had lunch here on St. Patricks Day and it was wonderful. Small, intimate, and accommodating. Truly a neighborhood gem. We had the fish and Chalula chicken tacos. Both dishes were great. Highly recommend this place.

Stopped here for lunch after a visit to Jefferson Hospital. Found the place alive with energy and savory smells. Were seated immediately and our server, Erin, was right there to greet us. Tried the mango guacamole which came with home made tortilla and plantain chips. Very tasty. We ordered the fish tacos and pork tacos. Both were excellent and flavorful... More

My co worker and I have been meaning to try this as we recently had lunch at barbuzzo and were very impressed (they are attached to other/same owners) The food here is Mexican and they do have a liquor license if your looking to drink... A somewhat limited menu when your dining for lunch maybe 20 items max. I had... More

My husband and I sought a recommendation from local hotel staff as to a great place to eat!!! Wow- was this tip spot on! The food was unique and delicious. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was cool. It is a tight little spot, but the lack of space is quickly overlooked. Portions are reminiscent of tapas and pleasantly presented.... More
