I was told to eat here and it was great advice. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. The martini was the best I had. Not fruity, strong and tasty. The food was great. The surroundings were not noisy but lively conversation. Lauren, our waitress was great and very attentive. I wish the bread had been warm, but that... More

My husband and I purchased the Living Social voucher for the three course dinner for two. The minute you walk in the door, all the wonderful scents coming from the kitchen immediately let you know that you're about to have some great food! The pasta was cooked to perfection--my husband tried the ravioli, and I had the spaghetti in garlic... More

My husband and I recently had dinner here utilizing a Groupon. We ate on the first floor which is small and the tables are fairly close together, so you will get to know your fellow dining companions! We didn't order appetizers or dessert, so our check was reasonable-it will get a bit high if you do a full course meal... More

I am always happy with the food here. Always a treat. If you are in a hurry, go to a chain restaurant. This is slow paced. Go with friends and loose the cell phones.

If you hark back to those Sunday Gravy days as a kid, then you will like the food here. My lasagna was perhaps the best I have ever had. Gravy was just like Mom's. Prices are reasonable. The place has an old 50's Italian decor and service is utilitarian. Not for those seeking lavishness or superior service. Its just about... More

The veal parm is huge and absolutely the most delicious I've ever had. We had great wine and tasty appetizers too. It's a smaller establishment, so make a reservation if possible. When we went it was just a few people in there (ate rather late that night). It's historical too, so prepare for a room that could use some updates;... More

We had a party of 5 and we all ordered full meals from the menu, appetizers, salad, main course and coffee and dessert. We had some in our party on minor dietary restrictions. Our waiter was completely incompetent. I have shared meals with the couple in our party many times over our 20 year friendship and they are very forgiving... More

We visited there from NY while visiting my son at College. They claim to win tons of awards, but the sauce was average, muscles full of sand, bread ice cold. Veal Parm was big, but for family of 5, no alcohol, bill was pricey and food was average. Service was good, but it did not knock me off my feet... More

We always go to Ralph's when we are in Philly. It is a great Italian restaurant;traditional. They are always busy; there is valet parking for $8. Make reservations! We had an old fashioned drink(delicious!). Then arugula salad (wonderful); broccoli rabe (good flavor); eggplant Parmesan (best I ever had), linguini with white clam sauce (so very, very good). No dessert, too... More
