Awsome old school Italian

Mussels - amazing! Veal Parm - just like grandma's. Original design of 1900 interior still intact, moved to upstairs dining. Really good meal overall. Would have been nice to see more homemade dessert other than a cannoli

My parents and I really enjoyed eating here last week when we were in Philadelphia and the food and service was really great. This is a great place to go to with a wide variety of items on the menu. This is a very nice place to take your family or a date.

We ate here after our son's graduation. It's a very old, very Italian eatery in Philly's Little Italy and claims to be the oldest Italian restaurant in the U.S. Though we had reservations, we had to wait for about a half hour to be seated, but we quickly forgave the wait. The food was amazing -- from the antipasto, to... More

I went in there during the Italian festival on May 16, with two friends. We expected it to be crowded, but it was not. We were seated upstairs within a few minutes. The air was cool and the place was nice. Our waiter came over shortly after we were seated and wanted our order right then. We told him we... More

This place is the best. One of the oldest continuous restaurants in the United States, this is old-school Italian food at it's best. Everything is home made, fresh and delicious. My wife and I came here for her birthday and the food was amazing. Very cozy atmosphere too, you feel like you're home when you're eating here.

We had a special celebration for our nephew as he begins his medical career as a young Doctor in Philadelphia. Seventeen of us gathered on the second floor for the family celebration. Our ages ranged from 8 through 70’s. We had appetizers and antipasto with wine followed by traditional Italian dishes. The meal was concluded with cannoli. The food was... More

Even better than I remembered. Started with mussels which were fantastic! Veal parm and pasta outstanding. Service excellent despite a packed house. The valet parking made it so convenant. Go to Ralph's if you want the real deal Italian food.

Our niece who lives in South Philly invited us to join her at Ralph's. After eating there we understand why she chose it. Don't let the inconspicuous hole in the wall fool you. The food was excellent. The service were great. The place was crowded but we had reservations. My only complaint is that it was a bit hard for... More

Ok I have to start this with my wife is Italian. She, her mother and grandmother were all great cooks. I love Italian food. We rarely go out for Italian because it is always disappointing. The standard is really high. We ate an early dinner at Ralph's yesterday. It was outstanding. The dishes were all extremely good. I had prosciutto... More

22 of us sat on the 3rd floor, thoroughly enjoying the atmosphere, service and food. It was so much fun and our waiters made it more pleasurable. Just smelling the aromas upon entering made us eager to try it out.
