While in south Philly for business, one of the locals I visited recommended Chickie's & Pete's for lunch (and other...), which wasn't too far away. It was below freezing that day and I really wanted a hot lunch. I took him on his recommendation and ordered one of their 'famous' Cheesesteaks. The... read more

Heard the hype. Overpriced. Small portions. Poor quality. Service good but disappointing for price. Better things in city.

The crab fries are delicious and I wish I lived closer so I could get them more. Great food and beer selection, go before seeing a game

Maybe we didnt get one of the great dishes but we were disappointed with the quality of the food there. One of use got the parm chicken cutlet sandwich. nothing really special about it and the sauce which not all that great the crab fries were good pizza was okay burgers were average also..just a average dinner with average service.

I've only been to the chickie and Petes in PNC Park in Pittsburgh, but I can honestly say the fries with the white cheese sauce are my favorite fries anywhere, I get them every single ballgame I attend

The wait staff was less than ambitious. Our specific server was never around. We had a couple good meals- -the lobster roll and the crab cakes were good. The other items were poor from nachos to varied cheese steaks and more. Too many other good places to eat, will not return. The wait staff needs training to learn to SERVE... More

We ate after the the Army Navy Game...recommended to us by a couple of frequent Philadelphia visitors and they said you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Boy were they right! We started with the bruschetta and some crab fries...delicious! Then we moved on to seasonal mussels and the lobster pie...super delicious! My only complaint is that the... More

Our party of 12 all enjoyed our dinners which varied from nachos, to buffalo wings to Philly Cheesesteak. It's more like a sportsbar but was good for a large group.

Celebrated my brother's 40th here and was happy with the turnout, the service, the food, and the fun. Food is always good at Chickies, most of us ordered some sandwiches and wings. Drinks were well made and were nice and cold. It gets crowded often, but we don't mind the noise (we were probably the one's making all the noise)
