Food is excellent (with a few "misses"- I don't consider a piece of CANDY a "course"- i.e. the piece of caramel with salt or the tiny sorbet in a spoon). The rest was great but don't go there if you really want to converse since you will be interrupted about every 12 minutes for a new set of silverware and... More

Great experience. $90/person for 14 courses. Four of those courses were exceptional. The menu is different every night. They service was absolutely impeccable. They were the friendliest staff I ever met and they seemed genuinely happy to serve you. It was awesome, we had a great time!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. We had the 12 course tasting menu, starting with a pumpkin bisque with apples, sage and pepitas. Each course was creative with layers of texture and flavor. Presentation was outstanding. Service could not have been better. This was a very special experience that we will remember for a long... In the past year, we have eaten at Per Se in New York, Alinea in Chicago, and many other world class restaurants. None of them holds a candle to the new tasting menu at Marigold Kitchen. We had eaten here before and after the first tasting menu was introduced. We always loved it, but this new set of chefs leaves... More

First, that Marigold is a BYO is great (and if you need recommendations, just call and ask!). The location is easy to get to with plenty of street parking. The service was excellent...our waiter was helpful, fun, and conversational without being intrusive. He was very conscientious of two dietary requests. Now..the food. I will start with the end...for all the... More

We dined at Marigold's recently -- the 12 course (plus a popcorn treat to go) prix fixe, $90/pp. BYOwine (tax & service extra). I agree with those other reviewers who praise the quality of the food -- clearly a five star restaurant, one of my best dinners ever. Everything was delicious and fascinating, and the portions were perfectly sized. We... More

If you're looking for a wonderful dining experience, make the trip to Marigold Kitchen in Philly. It was a fabulous experience with delicious tastings of unusually prepared food. It was truly art that was delivered to our table. Everything from the dimly lit garden outside, lovely ambiance inside, professional and friendly staff, and amazing chefs made this a dining delight.... More

Though the food I had was great, I only enjoyed 2 courses. During the second, I was given almond milk, despite repeatedly discussing my nut allergy with the staff. I have a very serious allergy and have to take epipens, go to the hospital, etc... really unpleasant. They even confirmed my allergy prior to the meal and assured me the... More
