A fabulous tasting menu with originality. All courses superbly thought out and prepared. Price is beyond reasonable considering the meal. Worth the trip. Couldn't recommend more highly

Operating continuously in the same Victorian location since 1934, Marigold's current small plate tasting menu style (by my count, 14 courses) dates back to at least the days when Erin O’Shea (Percy St. Barbeque) and then Michael Solomonov (Zahav, Federal Donuts) had it's helm. Since Michael, the torch has passed through his disciple (and sous) Robert Halpern (2009-2014) and now... More

We ate here recently as part of a large group for a rehearsal dinner. Even though we were part of a fairly large group, the food was amazing and the service was attentive. One of the servers provided an overview of the tasting menu at the beginning of the meal and each course was explained as it arrived. The 12... More

The tasting menu at Marigold Kitchen is an experience. Some of the best food we have ever had. This wan an opportunity to enjoy about one dozen courses, each dish just wonderful. Especially enjoyed the scallop in a acoconut brother and the edemame/hummus in chili oil. The meal is paced nicely and last well over 2 hours. Service is fantastic.... More

If you are looking for true gourmet food experience this is the place for you. The menu is 14 courses served in a very nice pace. Everything was cook to perfection. I personally did not like two of the dishes, but was very pleased with the overall presentation. The service is excellent, very professional and attentive. The mix between the... More

My wife and I shared a meal at Marigold Kitchen this weekend. It was one of the more interesting and engaging meals I have had. To correctly approach Marigold you need to think of it as a total experience not just a meal. Its really more like a play that is staged with food not actors. This is a tasting... More

Food is excellent (with a few "misses"- I don't consider a piece of CANDY a "course"- i.e. the piece of caramel with salt or the tiny sorbet in a spoon). The rest was great but don't go there if you really want to converse since you will be interrupted about every 12 minutes for a new set of silverware and... More

Great experience. $90/person for 14 courses. Four of those courses were exceptional. The menu is different every night. They service was absolutely impeccable. They were the friendliest staff I ever met and they seemed genuinely happy to serve you. It was awesome, we had a great time!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. We had the 12 course tasting menu, starting with a pumpkin bisque with apples, sage and pepitas. Each course was creative with layers of texture and flavor. Presentation was outstanding. Service could not have been better. This was a very special experience that we will remember for a long... In the past year, we have eaten at Per Se in New York, Alinea in Chicago, and many other world class restaurants. None of them holds a candle to the new tasting menu at Marigold Kitchen. We had eaten here before and after the first tasting menu was introduced. We always loved it, but this new set of chefs leaves... More
