We generally avoid hotel restaurants but a downpour meant we sought shelter and sustenance at Davio's associated with the Club Quarters in downtown Philadelphia. What a fabulous surprise! From the cherry balsamic chicken livers during happy hour (not to mention the complementary French fries and olives) through the dessert cart-- every course was beautifully presented and deliciously prepared. Tucked away on 17th, you'll find Davio's, one of my favorite places in the city. Creative menu and excellent wine selection make dining here a no brainer. Would highly recommend.

Our party of 7 recently dined at Davio's while visiting Philadelphia. The food, beverages, and service were all top-notch. Everyone loved their meals, from our picky 11-year-old to my foodie husband to our celiac teen to my meat-and-potatoes dad. Thank you, Davio's, for providing us with such a memorable experience. ***Note: they have a gluten-free menu and my celiac son... More

4 hours for dinner service even for 9 people (including 2 kids) is way too long. The staff seemed overwhelmed, disorganized and got orders wrong. It took an hour between each course and we had no clue as to what the problem was, since we ordered nothing that was special - just right off their menu! Even so, 2 dinners... More

The staff and food are amazing. I started with the philly cheese steak rolls that are absolutely the best. For my meal i had a perfectly cooked filet with truffle fries. If i could rate 4 3/4 stars i would. The dessert was not that good and the place is very noisy. But overall this is a must try. We... More

Waitress Stephani was amazing, very knowledgeable about menu , making recommendations, chatting and really making us feel comfortable and special. All the food was amazing, the chef obliged by putting a little extra spice in one pasta dish .A must if you are in Philly

My family and I ate here while visiting Philadelphia. We chose it because I can not eat gluten, and I had heard that Davio's is a great place to go if you have food allergies. I felt comfortable from the start, and our waiter assured me that I didn't have to worry. The service was second to none. I ordered... More

It may be a little noisy and certainly not cheap but very good food. They bring you delicious croissant bread at the beginning, and some biscuits at the end. The linguini with clams was very nice, and the Braised Branzino (Sea Bass) was delicious. I believe all the Caserecci (specialties of the House) are extremely nice. For dessert the Tiramisu... More

Friendly and professional staff, nice, elegant restaurant design. Very busy on a Saturday night, but still personal service. Food: the bread that was served was still undercooked inside. Steak was OK but I had expected way better meat quality and more refinement if the preparation. Had Brussel Sprouts as a side and again, completely undercooked, almost raw. Wine list was... More
