We chose Davio because of its proximity to our hotel. It has a lovely ambiance and the entire staff works as a team to provide friendly and capable service. Our food was delicious, homemade pasta, but our dinner ran over two hours due to a slow kitchen.

We literally just dropped our bags in the hotel, and got this recommendation from the front desk. Needless to say no one in our party was dressed fro a white tablecloth restaurant. However, the staff was more than accommodating, and seated us quickly. The ambiance was qute relaxing. Tall ceilings, tables adequately space so you had room to stretch out,... More

This is a place you should enjoy but I had the worst experience every. The service is over the top. The attention to detail, the attend to your need and the attention to perfection. It ashame that the chef is not taking pointers from the wait staff. Do not get the pasta!

We had invited a couple to join us for dinner in the city and Davios was a perfect choice. The wine list is extensive and if you aren't knowledgeable they will offer suggestions. The menu has a good variety of seafood and meat dishes. Everything we ordered was outstanding. The service was impeccable. Great atmosphere and we could actuality hear... More

We had one night in Philadelphia and picked Davio's for a special dinner. And they delivered. I had the Ono special which was prepared perfectly. My husband's veal Marsala melted in the mouth. They helped us select a great Cabernet to complement our meals. Finished with gelatos. Excellent and friendly service and very nice venue. We will have to find... More

My partner and I had dinner at Davio's on May 15th, 2014 for her 50th birthday - I had made the reservation in advance and noted the special celebration in the comment section of the reservation window. Although a Thursday night, the restaurant was packed and very busy due to many graduations and other celebrations taking place. We were greeted... More

I took my wife and daughter (her 18th birthday) to Davio's. This was the first time we have gone to this restaurant. I won't bore you with details although the gnocchis were second only to the ones we had in Italy so we took an order home with us! Terrific. The service and food were second to none. Although we... Davio's has both a classic and a seasonal Italian menu available. The food is delicious, and the service is professional and attentive without being overbearing. It's consistently wonderful and comfortable, and you get to enjoy it all in a magnificently grand interior. We eat there every visit to Philadelphia.
