The restaurant has an agreement that you can park at their lot up the street on Lombard. I guess I am use to going to Peter Lugar's in Brooklyn with their lot and parking for free. I mistakenly parked at the Bistro lot thinking that the restaurant had an agreement with the lot. More on this later. The restaurant is... More

Not only is Bistro Romano a very cute and quaint atmosphere, but the service is excellent as well! We were in for dinner on a very busy Saturday night with about 20 people to our party, and we were very well taken care of! Now on to the food.... AMAZING!!! I was fortunate to sample (steal) bites from other plates... More

I can't speak to the restaurant downstairs. I went to the murder mystery dinner upstairs, which was expensive. The show wasn't all that great, but then again this isn't exactly Broadway. The food was absolutely horrible. The potatoes tasted like they were burnt and reheated multiple times. The pasta dishes were undercooked. I respect the actors trying to make a... More

Went here on a Goupon with another couple from the neighborhood. They had been here previously and spoke highly of it, but they really liked having the same menu options at 40% off. My meal was spectacular, proceeded and aided by the $5 cocktails during happy hour (5PM to 7PM) at the bar on the street level. They provided a... More

The Bistro Romano is a cute cellar restaurant in the Society Hill neighborhood. On a cold night, we were warmly welcomed in the vestibule where coats are checked, and despite the fact that we had walked in without a reservation, we were cheerfully shown to a cozy booth downstairs. There was some sort of dinner mystery entertainment going on in... More

This dark stylish basement bistro offers upstairs quality cuisine & service. An extensive menu is complimented w/ numerous specials that (the night we dined there) included a delicious 16 oz. pork chop, served w/ fresh figs atop a bed of divine garlic mashed potatoes. A large block of fresh bistro salad was almost too good looking to eat & a... More

My wife and I had an amazing experience! It was a date night in the middle of the week and the atmosphere was great. It was very authentic Italian feel. The price was what you would expect for an upscale Italian bistro. The servers were very nice. One nice touch was the private wine room that you can have a... More

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a retirement and everything was wonderful, we started at the bar for a few drinks before dinner and then headed downstairs to the restaurant. The Caesar Salad was the best I have ever had, they make it right at your table, the atmosphere was very quaint and it was like being in Italy.... More

We were staying at the Penn's View hotel and asked where we could go to spend a great evening for dinner for our honeymoon. They suggested Bistros Romano and set up the reservation for us. We got there and they were very respectful and took us right to our seat. The atmosphere was amazing and we had never eaten at... More
