We had been to the Fountain Restaurant on a number of occasions for Sunday Brunch and enjoyed it very much, despite its price. What a disappointment a recent Saturday night dinner turned out to be. This is simply a superb restaurant. A lovely setting with impeccable, approachable service. Fantastic presentation of creative dishes and select standards - both with marvelous, complex flavors. Extensive wine list - with moderate all the way through dot-commer expense labels. Every course to pleasure and savor. Sorely underrated on this site - Fountain is world-class dining. more

I had Saturday lunch Sept 27 at the Fountain. The food was good although my $13.00 salad from the menu was small and lacking creativity. My entree was very good and exactly what I expected. In Philly for a few days and went here for the brunch. It was highly rated and lived up to it. The brunch was expensive but the quality of the food was excellent and the room is nice also. I would recommend highly. more
If you have the money and are willing to spend it...do it. Brunch is an event. more
