When I am in Philadelphia, I always treat my hosts to brunch at the Four Seasons. It is elegant, varied, delicious and fresh. The service is impeccable. We always dress up and go to the Cathedral for Mass across the street, but many families and hotel guests come as they are, so it's all kinds welcome. Yes, it's pricey, but... More

What can I say. There is a place left where you can hear your guests talk. civilized dining. never rushed. food perfect. service impeccable. Any one who did not like this place doesnt know good food, service or real dining. This is not a place where loud music blasts, tables turn over quickly and food is basic. so if you... More

We came here for our wedding anniversary and could not have been happier with the experience. The food was outstanding and the service over the top excellent. We were greeted on arrival by three pleasant staff members, one of whom wished us a happy anniversary (I had told them when making the reservation) and offered the choice of going to... More

I had previously been very impressed with the food and overall experience at the Fountain. I had gone several times for dinner with my company, and we really considered it a special place. I was very excited to bring my fiancee for a special dinner. Unfortunately, it did not go well. We first arrived at the Swan Lounge to get... More

Booked a Valentine's Day lunch table at the Fountain restaurant after learning the Philadelphia restaurant critic from the Inquirer gave it 4 stars. The staff at the Four Seasons was extremely polite and helpful upon entering the hotel. The restaurant was full and we had a table on the window overlooking Logan Square. The wait staff wears something akin to... More

Based on a previous "over the top" dining experience at this restaurant we were thrilled to book the Four Seasons New Years' package which included accomodations, dinner and entertainment. Our expectations upon booking this evening were based upon the lovely intimacy, stellar food and service offered by the Fountain Room in the past. What a disappointment to find that exceptional standards... More

For our family it was always a legendary fine quality place to dine. We had a few dinners here, many brunches and always enjoyed the superb quality of service and food itself. It is still good but not as high quality, only prices did not go down. Service is average and the food good. Maybe I would judge it differently... More

A breakfast get together with an out of town friend for the Holidays was a bit embarrassing. The restaurant did not reflect the prestigious Fountain Restaurant of years of reliability and excellence. The food was mediocre, the service was forced but the prices still reflective of a fine dining experience. Not worth the visit.

We stayed at the four seasons, so had breakfast a few days at the restaurant and dinner one night. I fully agree it is pricey. However, they had some of the best prepared salmon I have had! The wine list is extensive, albeit not cheap as well. Fantastic cheese plate. Great selection! So if you are in the mood for... More

Our group of 5 couples had reserved three months in advance for a holiday dinner on a December Saturday evening. We had very pleasant memories of a 2008 holiday dinner there. Key to our reservation was a request for a round table, as we had in 2008, to facilitate conversation. So our first disappointment of the evening was being shown... More
