I took my parents out there to eat- my mom loved this place - she had the taster's menu and so did my dad- they both loved it and I had good time. For me this place is just as good if not better- some dishes are equal or better than some of the top places in philly, such as... More

The Fountain Restaurant is in the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia it has great food but the prices are a bit pricey. Im not complaining I'm just giving a heads up to anyone thinking of dining there. The restaurant is pretty popular on the weekends and during events in Philadelphia like the 4th of July so be sure to make... More

Had perhaps the best corned beef hash rendition ever...big chunks of beef and potatoes in a spicy, delicious sauce...kudos to the chef on that; my partner enjoyed a real bagel (w/choice of types) and salmon -- very good; lunch, had the chopped lobster salad, very good, and salmon caeser, also good, but the carrot soup pretty blah, although nice presentation;... Expect to spend $100 + per person. You can do a 5 course menu or a la carte for a cheaper option. The wine list is extensive with enough fairly priced options. The service is excellent as one would expect at Four Seasons. The tables are spaced far enough apart to have a quiet meals. An obnoxious couple sat near... More

I went for lunch one day when I was waiting for the my train to come. From the moment I got out of the car the staff was very friendly and exactly what you would expect from the four seasons. From the restaurant their was a nice view of the fountain and surrounding buildings. My waiter was very nice and... More

We decided to go to the Fountain for a special occasion because it is closing in 2015 and we had enjoyed many good meals in the past. The evening turned out to be a disaster. We were seated in the main dining room but close to the lounge area where a large group of loud people who obviously were enjoying... More

First, let me state that this place is expensive! I don't mind that, especially for a special occasion, our anniversary, but it seemed not quite up to their usual standards. My entree was a deconstructed paella, clever but a little bland. My husband ordered a scallop dish, not noticing that it also included veal cheeks. They were willingly replaced, but... More

This one knocks it out of the park every time. Fantastic menu, classic cuisine with some innovation, and great service. The room is a little stark, but not too bad.
