I have mixed feelings about this restaurant because the service was poor. We only ordered entrees, yet we waited for over an hour to receive them. The server explained that the kitchen had erroneously made steamed mussels instead of steamed clams, resulting in the long wait. We also had to wait for an unreasonable amount of time to receive our... More

We stopped here for dinner because we wanted crab. The restaurant sat us promptly even though we didn't have a reservation. It is not a fancy place...very casual keeping with a nautical theme. I thought I wanted crab but when I saw the prices and the size I decided to opt for crab cake. really didn't feel like cracking crab....too much... More

They allowed us to move our reservation to earlier to accommodate our tired children. The crab was delicious and very fresh. Stuffed mushrooms were divine with great flavor and taste. The fries were so so...expected them to be fresh cut but tasted frozen. Definitely would recommend to others to eat at in Philly.

We just stumbled across DiNardo's as we wandered the historic area and read the menu outside. It was a quiet Monday noontime with only a few customers. The bar area was empty but when we walked back to the restaurant there were a few others eating. It is comfortable and a bit old-fashioned in decor, but I like that. Our... More

I am not an upscale person by any means, but I do like the upscale hotels for low prices, which usually lands me smack in the middle of expensive restuarants. Well DiNardo's is near Penn's Landing and well worth the visit. The seafood is fresh and wonderful. The prices are what you would expect to pay for Dungeness Crabs (I... More

I frankly don't understand the hype. Although "famous" for crab dishes (& there's a number if different ones) there's not much of a seafood variety otherwise. Twin lobsters for $40 is a rip off. I enjoyed the fried oysters which were large moist and savory inside and lightly breaded. But there were only 5 of them for $25. The crab... More

I visited this weekend for a family lunch. The menu was very limited with choices as were the juice selections. I have never been to a restaurant that only offers cranberry juice. The decor is also very dated. The service was horrible but that could be because there was literally one waitress working. With that being said she kept forgetting... More

If your looking for crabs in the 10" to 12" size this is your place. We went for our anniversary and it blew away our expectations. We are from Delaware and there once was a DiNardos in Wilmington that had crabs this size. They don't make crabs this size in the Cheasapeake Bay anymore. The wait staff was awesome, we... More

I used to frequent this restaurant regularly for visits with relatives that lived in the area. It was "the best" place to go for crabs and seafood. I had to come in to town for business and the restaruant was just blocks away - there was a groupon available and I couldnt resist taht trip down memory lane. I wish... More
