I was excited to visit this restaurant and wine bar. Italian restaurant and wine bar - what more can you ask for ? They have the largest selection of wines by the glass and that was really fun and I selected two wines that I loved. They serve wine crackers and they were very tasty. The wait staff even offered... I liked the idea of the wine flights, but would have liked to have been able to select my own 5 wines. Our server was great and vey helpful, steering me away from one dish he felt wasn't good. The gnocchi was very light and pillow-like and my veal was tender and tasty. The cheese plate to end was also... More

Had two wonderful lunches and a dinner Feb 28 and March 1, 2014. Both lunches were excellent and their selection of beers is good and wines positively astounding. 120 different wines by the glass from the world's largest wine preservation system (Guinness World Records). Our dinners consisted of two shared appetizers (Calamari Fritti and Ricotta & Mozzarella Ravioli in basil... More

Took advantage of a Valentine's day promotion - dinner, room, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Dinner was very good, wine bar is exceptional, rooms are understated and elegant. Antonio, the concierge, is extremely accommodating. It was a great getaway weekend.

I'm speaking about the bar, because we only had breakfast in the dining area. The bar is so comfortable. it's an experience. If I lived there that would be my regular hangout.

If you are craving real Italian food, flavorful and memorable, this is not the place to go. There food was average, at best, for Italian food and didn't have Mom's touch. I doubt that I would return when there are so many better Italian options in Philly.

Four of us had dinner during restaurant week, and I must say, we had a wonderful experience. Even though we arrived about half an hour early, our table was ready. The hostess told us to let her know whenever we were ready as we opted to sit at the bar first. Once we were quickly seated, service was quite attentive.... More
