I enjoy a well made and delicious cheesesteak. And this is one. The roll was top notch, the meat was juicy, and the roll was filled with plenty of steak and cheese. One of the best I have had in a long while and earns 5 stars.

When I went to Campos, the service was great even though there were many people there. The food was great because the steak had lots of flavor. If there weren't so many people in the room there would be plenty of space. The thing I liked most about the restaurant were the cheese steaks.

We were super excited about trying real Philadelphia Cheesesteaks for the first time. I am a vegetarian, so mine veggie cheesesteak was okay. I think we hyped the whole experience up too much and when the sandwiches were just okay, we were let down.

We dropped by here for Philly cheese steaks and thought it looked like a decent place. We got "The Works" cheese steaks and decided to try a Hot Veggie Hoagie too. The person behind the register was kind of grumpy, but we didn't think much of it as this is a fast food place after all. The food was unbelievably... More

For a family run business that boasts "we put the customer first," we were surprised when they wanted to charge an additional 85 cents for extra sauce on a $10.25 meatball sandwich (a tad dry). When I returned to the grill to ask the line cook for a small cup of sauce, he looked over to the cashier (apparently the... More

We went to Campo's for a quick meal while walking around and the meal was good. It wasn't anything out of the park, but they did have many different takes on the classic Philly Cheese Steak Sandwhich. The prices were right along with others that we have had throughout the city. I would swing by if you're in the area.

Stop 2 on cheesesteak tour-fantastic! Had the traditional 'steak with wiz' sandwich, which I recommend over provolone cheese, IMHO. The place had indoor seating- not too crowded when I was there at 5PM, but could get crowded during lunch hour. A must visit.

Campos was listed on VisitPhilly's list of best cheesesteaks in the city, however it was hard to see how it made the list. The sandwiches were average, with plenty of fat attached to the meat. Thing special, and at $9/sandwich, we expected a lot more. Unlike other 'famous' cheesesteak places, the service here was excellent and quite friendly.

?????????? maybe I am a novice but I loved the Everything sandwich we had here. The food was as expected, not Delmonico Steak but hey A Cheese steak is a Cheese steak right. The server was very friendly and gave good advise, we visited other shops this was our steak of choice. Real close to Penn View Hotel and attractions.
