Some interesting choices on the menu. The food was good, the atmosphere was just okay, and the staff were friendly.

My husband and I really love Standard Tap - whether going with friends, family or just ourselves we always enjoy the food, the beers and the service. The first floor is first-come, first-serve for a seat at the bar on grabbing a table. On the second floor, there is another bar area with first-come, first-serve tables and a restaurant area... More

We went to standard tap with a large group - teens and adults. It was a great meal and great ambience. The food was delicious and the beer was even better. Saw it on the travel channel a few months ago and had to try it out. I can't wait to go back.

GREAT atmosphere and terrific beer selection. The food was tasty, although I wouldn't say the best I've had. But it's definitely worth a stop if you're in the No Libs area of Philly, which itself is a charming neighborhood.

Come hungry and leave happy! It won't matter what you order, but certainly accompany your main with a side of the habanero grits. Just first rate, down home, no frills, outstanding cuisine. The food is the center of the attention, the service makes you the center of theirs. Get there!

I have been to Standard Tap many times and the food is always delicious and satisfying. The place is always jammed, but if you grab a drink and wait,a table or spot at one of the bars usually opens. Two of us went recently on a Saturday around 7:30,and after scoring a prime parking spot right in front,we were feeling lucky. Of... More

We ventured from downtown to this outlying neighborhood for a completely different seting. inhabitants got much younger ( unfortunately we didnt) the buildings much more transitional ( new upscale housing mixed with other settings literally crumbling and housing plant life only) . Reached this 2nd street mini oasis of restaurants and shops. Standard Tap, very obviously a favorite, was crowded... More

We have only been to Standard Tap once and since we are not big drinkers, haven't been back. I ordered a steamed mussels dish and my husband ordered some kind of lamb something. For as much hype as we'd heard about Standard Tap, we were left a little puzzled over what the fuss? Sure, both food and drink menu were... More

I brought my husband here for his birthday. I was a little disappointed with the tap selection as they had no IPA's. The food was ok. My husband had the burger, which he enjoyed and I had the recommended, Chicken Pie which was dry and kind of flavorless. I would like to give this place another try, maybe on a... More

We were looking for the Brooklyn Philly flea when we saw they had brunch. I had an omelet, the potato cake was delish. Hubby had the curry veggie salad and it was ridiculously good. Fresh, pickled carrots, chick peas, parsnips, arugula. Amazing. The cilantro creamed corn soup was awesome too. Highly recommend.
