We stopped at Zorba's for lunch. What looked like a tiny place from the outside turned out to be a nice, cozy restaurant on the inside with really beautiful interior design (loved the orange walls with blue accents!). We love zorba's! It has more of an authentic Greek food feel. It is like eating at your Greek aunt's house instead of eating Greekish food.

The hummus was pretty standard but the grape leaves were delicious! My fiance and I both has the chicken gyro and it was good, but it left something to be desired. I wish it had more flavor or spice to it. It was kind of bland. The service was pretty good. I don't know if we'll come back again...

This is a small little place on Fairmount Avenue, convenient to the Museum of Art. We dined outside on a beautiful evening. Furry much fun to watch the people walking along the Avenue. However, the food was a bit disappointing. We had a combination meat plate and a combination seafood appetizer. Seafood appetizer included fried calamari which was fine. However,... More

Went here for dinner and we are so glad we did. The food was authentic and everything was just like we had it in Greece. From the soft and hot pita to the horiatiki salad and gyro, the food exceeded our expectations. Dishes ordered: cold app sampler with tzatziki, hummus, eggplant, and potato and garlic spread; gyro platter; stuffed eggplant;... More

We spent the day in the Museum of Art area and knew of Zorba's from our review on TA. We showed up at 5 after 4 and were told that while lunch normally is over at 4, they hadn't broken anything down and would be happy to seat us for lunch. We both ordered gyros sandwiches and were very pleased... More

Found this local tavern by accident after visiting the Rocky Steps & statue and feeling a little peckish. I did a quick "near me now" search in trip advisor and hey presto this place was really close snd had awesome reviews, I can see why... authentic Greek fare at a great price with good service... Highly recommended.

Split the cold sampler appetizer. Very impressive collection of flavors, delicious. I had the chicken kabob and my partner had the Calamari. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. Calamari was nicely battered and very tender. You'd be hard pressed to go wrong here.

This BYOB is across the street from the Eastern State Penitentiary, open for lunch and dinner. The food is a very good value. The focus is on seafood and lamb, both choices very nice. Service is excellent. The parking lot, also across the street, is a plus as on-street parking is very limited in this neighborhood.

Just a few blocks from the Eastern State Penitentiary and the Philadelphia Museum of Art is this excellent neighborhood Greek restaurant. Friendly staff and distinctively prepared Greek dishes. Different from your run-of-the mill Greek restaurant.
