Ordered delivery to CHOP. Arrived much sooner than predicted by order taker. Coconut milk soup, cashew chicken & shrimp (Spicy), pad Thai -- all very tasty. Sweet Mango Rice is ridiculously priced at $5.95 for a dessert -- just a lump of rice and half a mango sliced -- but wife said it was super fresh. About 5 adult servings... More

The Thai Singha House on 20th and Chestnut (across from Capo Giro) serves authentic Thai food quickly and cheaply. It's definitely a take-out place, though they have a few seats; get your delicious $6 pad thai or red curry and take it to the park. The kitchen is spotless and the service is friendly. Five stars; I eat here regularly.

Have been to both. I liked the food and the atmosphere here much better. Where the "other place" is more crowded and busier, this is a "white tablecloth" restaurant, well spaced tables and suitable for a conversation. Maybe I'm getting old, but that's the environment I prefer. The food was REALLY good. Lots of veggie dishes, and they are willing... More

This is not the best Thai restaurant in Philadelphia but I considered it is the best in the University city area. Their dishes are better and more authentic than Pattaya which is a Thai cuisine next door. The price is a little bit lower too. I have been here nearly every month. My favorite dish is Yen-ta-4. This is a... More

Good Thai food. Uneven service. Sometimes you wait for an hour before you get your entree, and other times the service is perfect. A good place for Penn and Drexel students to take their parents when they come to Philly to visit.

Lunch combo $10 for appetizer, soup, and main dish! Sauteed dishes crispier than Pattaya Grill.
