Stopped in late one evening and found a spot at the very cool oval bar. Clearly there were people there who wanted to be seen, but others were just hanging out with friends. The bartender was attentive to everyone. A pleasant experience, but not a place for a large group.

This place is really good for people watching! Had appetizers and a drink late Saturday afternoon and it was very enjoyable. Loved the escargot with goat cheese. The calamari was nothing special. Good but not fabulous creme brûlée. Prices are not cheap but you are really paying for a fantastic locale and overall experience.

The coffee here is great. I thought the food was fine, but nothing too special. What did make the experience special was sitting outside with a view of the park on a beautiful summer day.

The atmosphere was great here on a Saturday afternoon across from Rittenhouser Park. They have tables on the street but we sat inside with the wide windows open and it still felt like you were on the street. Inside is better because the tables and chairs on the street are very close together. Our lunches were very good from fish... More

good food, cool modern french lunch spot. champagne bar in the middle of place. service was pretty good, little slow. i had the lettuce cups, was predicting more than 2 for 8$. kinda pricey and weren't worth 8$. tried a bite of the soft shell crab sandwich and that was pretty good. not bad, but don't think i would seek... We stopped in on a muggy evening for drinks. It's a great spot to watch the park as people come and go. This neighborhood is fantastic overall.

First impression was that the waitress was a little snooty. The cheese tray was very delicious but somewhat skimpy. Cheapest wine on the "by the glass" menu was $10, but it tasted like a $10/bottle wine. The tuna sandwich was absolutely delicious and even better than I expected, but the "salad" that came along with it was a cold noodle... More

I hate to do this but...it is worth the food--only. (for a daytime visit) Not my first time here and it might have been my last. From the first interaction the staff had a bad attitude. It was a regular Sunday, my friend was visiting from New York and we wanted Rouge burgers for lunch/brunch. The hostess and service absolutely... More

Since the weather was so nice we decided to try out Rouge. We had a window seat to enjoy the park view. My husband really like his escargot. I thought my mussels were just OK. The duck fettuccine and hanger steak salad were delicious. Our server Bob was excellent. The place was packed with regulars. Do try the French press... More

Awesome location, at Rittenhouse Square. Great place to people watch, dog watch, and enjoy the view of the Square. The outside seating is pet friendly. The food is amazing! Highly recommend it!
