Cozy Late Nighter

Small place that gets packed with energy and the late crowd as the night moves on....good small menu with interesting plates.

This is one of those restaurants I always go to when I am in Philly at least one night for dinner (sometimes two). One a nice night, you can site outside, people watch and just relax. The food is great, never had something that I didn't like. The atmosphere is laid back, so the servers aren't hovering, which is great... More

Excellent in midst of busy people watching Rittenhouse Square. Came for the festival today and scoped out this place for a bite. There was a 30 minute wait for outside table but inside we were seated right away at the corner table as you people watch as they go by. Music is mix from uh hum.. My generation while the... More

Came here for a few drinks. We sat outside and had some soup. Service wasn't the best and it was a little high priced which I kind of expected being in an nicer part of town.

I had a business trip and met my 24 year old daughter for dinner on February 13th. Started with the 3 cheese appetizer and moved on to the lobster ravioli and NY strip. Dessert was a Valentine's day cake with strawberry. The service, food and vibe were terrific.

I liked this place a few years ago, but this time the food and service were average - while the cost is high. It is in a great part of town and you can sit outside and look a Rittenhouse square which is pleasant.

Spend a lazy late Saturday afternoon eating a great hamburger and chips. Really great stuff, not cheap, but a real treat. The space and staff are warm, welcoming, nd just plain enjoyable. Try the special sangria cocktail, it's probably the best 'afternoon' cocktail I've ever had. It's my new favourite Philly restaurant.

I really used to really like Rouge until recently. Ate there over the holidays with a group of 5. Two of us ordered truffle fries and got very sick afterwards I wrote to Rouge to tell them about it. I wasn't asking for anything; no compensation or a credit. I just wanted them to be aware of the experience we... More

I had lunch here, the nicoise salad. Wine was good, food great and service great as well. Lovely rear seared big tuna pieces on a salad with lettuce, tomato, carrot, potato and oniun. I did not like the olives, but then again have lived in Greece for several years so am probably spoiled in relation to these. All in all,... More

We really enjoyed our food (tuna melt and whoppers of burgers) and our waitress was very good. The front door staff that greeted us were just odd. Don't let that deter you - this place is a great stop for lunch!
