I had lunch here, the nicoise salad. Wine was good, food great and service great as well. Lovely rear seared big tuna pieces on a salad with lettuce, tomato, carrot, potato and oniun. I did not like the olives, but then again have lived in Greece for several years so am probably spoiled in relation to these. All in all,... More

We really enjoyed our food (tuna melt and whoppers of burgers) and our waitress was very good. The front door staff that greeted us were just odd. Don't let that deter you - this place is a great stop for lunch!

I love Rouge for the ambience. Something about the modern, somewhat feminine aesthetic is really appealing to me. The food is pretty decent as well. I recommend the steak frites. Also, they're famous for their burger but I've never tried it. Given the location, be prepared to spend a little more than what the food warrants, but overall, really a... More

I really liked my dining experience at Rouge. The vibe was great and my server was AWESOME! My server had blonde hair and tattoos she also was really friendly. She also helped me pick new drinks for us to try with dinner. I tried a Rouge burger at Burger Brawl at XFINITY Live earlier this year and I was disappointed... More

An ideal spot for a quiet Sunday brunch. The menu was different and beautifully crafted. The wait staff were excellent and very helpful. The location was great for a Sunday stroll.

It's really sad for me because Rouge used to be one of my favorite places. This was before I knew of Yelp so I never reviewed. After my last visit, however, I was left with my blood boiling and vouching to leave a "fair" review. The only reason this review is getting 3 stars is because I added a star... More

I wanted to try the rouge burger on a recent trip to philly to see how it rates as I am a foodie and burgers are my weakness....it is actually very good....the meat blend is great and I added applewood smoked bacon to it. Not the world beater but top 10....my fiance' had eggs Benedict which were good but the... More

Good setting overlooking the square, doll yourself up a bit, as most of the customers look quite smartly dressed. Mixture of cuisines on the menu from quite traditional chicken and mash to oriental duck stir fry.

I´ve been to my share of restaurants in Philly, a city where you can eat very very good food. So I was anxious to see Rouge. I cannot say I was totally disappointed - the place is very charming, with sofas, dim light and candles on the tables. But the food was average, specially if you consider the value. I´ve... More
