Great Restaurant

I lived in Philadelphia 5 years ago, and this was my favorite restaurant. I came back two months ago to live in Philadelphia again and was happy to say it's still as good as ever. It's great comfort food which is perfect for a winters or summers evening.

The pear and gorgonzola appetizer was very good, but everything went rapidly downhill from there. The salads were B-/C - fairly tasteless, the fish entrees were blah and the couscous served with one of them was an over-cooked tasteless mush. Plalin Oatmeal would have been better. Just not what I would have expected from a Philly restaurant of this supposed... More

Pretty awesome experience. We went there with a local, who loves it there. It was evidently ‘restaurant week’ in Philly while we were there so not sure what the menu is typically like. For this particular week it was a prix fixe menu, I think there were 5 appetizer selections and 5 or 6 entrees. Appetizers: grilled shrimp were incredible.... More

Fabulous little restaurant around Rittenhouse Square. Can't say enough about the food. The zuppa di pesce is big enough for two. So much seafood it actually overwhelms. The lamb is a must have. Done brilliantly, and mashed potatoes to die for... seconds of those for sure. Tuna, a huge piece..cooked to perfection..half the amount of most restaurants. Beets and orange... More

Delicious food, in a nice place, but the room is too loud, you have to scream to communicate with the person next to you. I'd rather to go do a disco to get this noise.

A little restaurant off the beaten track, and yet only a few minutes walk from the center of Philadelphia. The few minutes walk is well worth taking. This is a BYOB with a wine shop opposite. A selection of menu items unrivaled and unique. I highly recommend this restaurant, but come early. We found outside seating at 6:00pm, but as... More

I have been to this restaurant about a dozen times and figured it was about time I wrote a review. The restaurant is located on a great corner in one of the nicest parts of the city. The staff is friendly and works hard to give every person a positive experience. The menu is simple, but has terrific options to... More

Cute little place, very simple. I had heard great things about this restaurant and was very excited to finally try it. The place was cute and the staff, extremely friendly and attentive. The appetizers were very good (octopus (I wish I could eat this salad daily), dip sampler, and Brussels), so we were excited for our entrees. The entrees were... More

Went there on a Monday night. They don't take rezzies for outside so the wait time can vary but totally worth it. It's Byob so don't forget your wine at home. The menu looks great, so many amazing choices. The atmosphere and service are also wonderful. If you like to taste a few dishes and share, this place is great... More

Audrey Claire is a neighborhood restaurant not far from Rittenhouse Square. It is cash only and BYOB. It does not take reservations for Friday or Saturday but we were able to get a reservation on Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. We sat outside on a beautiful summery evening and all three of us had a great meal. I had... More
