Loved this place for the family. Located near touristy areas, but a cool non touristy vibe and menu. Great for kids and parents alike.

The service at Jones was amazing. The food was pretty good. In our table of four, the best item was the meat loaf. It was outrageously good. The chicken pot pie is pretty good, but very pricey for not having any sides and 1/3 of it being airy crust, that was disappointing. Good beer selection and cool vibe though. Our... More

we visit jones every time we come to philly, and we have never been disappointed in the food or the ambiance. it's a fun place to eat; the theming is perfect and makes you feel welcome. loved the monkey bread, bloody marys, and the tomato soup and grilled cheese is a perpetual favorite!

Excellent Food and wonderful choices. Recommend by the visitors center, Jones turned out to be the family favorite of our trip to Philadelphia. Excellent homestyle choices like incredible baked Mac and Cheese. They have a "create your own salad" option with quite a few different ingredients to choose from including pumpkin seeds, goat cheese and kale. The fried chicken was"... More

It wasn't awful, but very high priced for just ok food. i had chicken and waffles...and my fiance had the fried chicken basket. Chicken was dry and overcooked..said it had been sitting a while under a lamp.

Our hotel suggested this spot our first day in the city. It is very large and roomy inside, surprisingly so. I love the atmosphere, they play some techno - sounding music in the background for that "trendy" vibe and have a fireplace that you can view from the sunken down center of the dining area or over to the side... The decor of the restaurant is a bit basic so I didn't have real high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the chicken pot pie was. My wife had a pork chop which was the special of the day and it was well prepared and tasted wonderful. My daughter had a pasta dish that was also good.... More

Our bellman recommended this place "best grilled cheese in the universe"... ok so the kids begged to go. Custom made salads were huge and fantastic. Service was good, no issues. Prices were above avg, but actually cheap for the historic area. Overall a great dinner for our 1st night in Philly.

The shag carpet inside will throw you off a little on a first visit, but Jones has awesome staff, a comfy environment and amazing staple comfort food. The decor is reminiscent of a 1970s style home with some modern flair. They have a dual sided fireplace in the center too, which is great for those cold, northeastern nights. The baked... More

Good food, good prices and good service. Something for everyone, including our picky eater. Fun retro atmosphere. Psst, try the meatloaf. Excellent!
