Delicious comfort food!

The chicken and waffles were delicious, served with gravy or syrup! Our waiter was very nice and patient with our large group.

Ate lunch here today with a colleague, and there really was nothing remarkable to write about. The service isn't lacking, but they don't seem to go the extra mile for you. The menu is quite limited if you don't want the usual soup or salad staples or lunch, and I prefer to not order a dinner entree for lunch. My... More

This restaurant was recommended by our friends who live in the city. The decor is retro chic with a menu to match. We arrived with reservations for brunch for 6. We were seated promptly and our waitress was wonderful. I ordered a Bloody Mary and enjoyed reviewing all the options for rim salt, garnish etc. It was tasty and just... More

I was in Philly on business and it was suggested that I stop at Jones for fried chicken. I rarely eat and never cook fried chicken. It is not the healthiest of food options. However, I had a cheat meal and this was worth every delicious bite and worth every minute I will have to work off in the gym.... More

The atmosphere brings you back to the seventies. The brown shag carpet and decor was "classic." When we first went in, we were looking for a place for 12 people. It ended up being just 4 of us, and they were still very accomodating and not put out due to our change. Our waiter, Andrew, was very attentive and friendly.... More

The concierge recommended we try Jones as it was close to our hotel and she said delicious upscale comfort food. We were shocked at how delicious everything that arrived at our table tasted. The mushroom soup was excellent, as were the pierogies, the fish tacos and the cobb salad. One in our group had the seared ahi tuna and it... More

My friends and I went to Jones over Memorial Day weekend. Oddly enough, there was no problem getting a seat. The waitress greeted us quickly, took our orders, and kept trying to sell and upsell. The next time we saw her was when she was trying to sell us coffee and desserts. Someone else brought our food, and we sat... More

Great music and room decor. Shag rug and fireplace took me back to childhood playroom. Super comfort food and fast friendly service and lots of clean individual bathrooms. Chicken Parmesan was huge and delicious. Loved the tomato soup and grilled cheese made with fontina and cheddar and bacon I added. Hit the spot after a day of visiting liberty bell,... More

The noise is deafening, the service is poor, overpriced, no kid's menu, and they got my order wrong. We won't be coming back.
