Great food and friendly service

Great food and very friendly service.....They are also open late and flexible with outdoor seating if weather permits......I tried the pesto pasta and the thin crust pizza and they were extremely good.

While in Philly this past week, I had an excellent lunch at Pizzicato. The Pear Walnut salad with Honey Lavender dressing was delicious, as was the Turkey Panini with smoked bacon, Brie and Apple Chutney. There was no problem substituting Truffled Fries for the Sweet Potato Fries, and the server was attentive without hovering.

I stopped in here on a whim for dinner and got pretty much what I expected. The staff was good, they tried hard and were very enthusiastic. The food was lacking though, kind of bland and definitely overpriced. It is possible the pizzas are good but the pasta was not house made and the sauces they used were very bland.... More

A very hot day in Philly and we're looking for a place to get a bite, quickly. Pizzicato. Every table inside was occupied so we opted for the heat. The bartender, seeing us waiting, immediately brought our 4 yr-old an ice water - with a straw. Now that was unexpected, as busy as he was! Well, sitting out side was... More

I've been to Philly many times and we just never got to this restaurant until Saturday. Great location and the manager (Jack) was delightful and friendly telling the people in front of us about the place, so we went in. Our server Erika was just wonderful, attentive and helpful! My friend and I split an appetizer - crab/avacado nest. Tons... More

After dining here for nearly a decade, I can see why it's still going strong. After some renovations and attention to detail, still one of the best spots in Philly. The pastas are all made in house and haven't had a wood fire oven pizza this good since being in Italy. Had the classic pear and walnut salad and a... More

Wanted a quick but sit down lunch for family of four (including young kids). They were accommodating with kids. Burger was good. Salad was great. Waitress was hard to understand (new tongue ring - gross!) but fine service. Not as cheap as a deli sandwich or quick slice but it was chilly, we had time to kill, and a nice... More

We stayed in the historic area near 3rd. Stopped in for dinner and we were thrilled, The service and food were both excellent. My friend had the pork tenderloin, 4" by 2" of cooked perfection! I had the wood oven pizza and the pear salad and I am already craving more!

Went there for lunch and loved the staff and food. Deserts were really good too. Staff was super busy with a huge group that walked in, but still they were making sure we were well served.
