what a rip off.

we booked the 7lb duck for 2. If we got 4 oz it was a lot. When the waitress brought out the beautiful roasted duck, I asked her were we going to be served the entire thing or was it like Peking duck where you only got to peek at it? She said we would be served the whole thing.... read more

We were a group of Italians from Tuscany on our last night in the States after a long trip through New York, DC and Philly and we chose the Fork being close to our apartment on a snowy night. Great choice! In spite being very busy that night, the service was great, everyone was very attentive and caring of us.... More

Fork was recently rated #2 in Philadelphia Magazine's survey, and it more than deserves this title. My husband and I had one of the best meals we have ever eaten there last night. We got the $75 menu - four courses plus numerous amuse bouches (the best of which have to be the lime/celery soda, radish leather, and amazing breads).... More

Enjoyed the Terroir menu for my birthday. A wonderful experience. Lives up to its recent top 10 rating. Service was excellent, perfect level of friendly and attentive. The 12 courses were a very well thought out and diverse mix of very local ingredients served as new impressions on old regional recipes. What really stood out for me was the synergistic... More

first visit for us. arrival reception was a bit off-putting as the hostess was busy carrying-on personal conversation and it took a bit for her to disengage to attend to us. we then sat at the bar for a drink prior to eating. just wanted champagne by the glass and they only have cava and non-champagne options. if we wanted... We dined at Fork for Valentine's Day, and enjoyed it completely. Food was expertly prepared and service was impeccable. Cauliflower and cheese soup and pappardelle were both excellent.

This review is based on only one visit to Fork in February 2015. We were excited to try Fork having heard very good things from our friends. We ordered the Terroir menu and left relatively disappointed. The Terroir menu is an ingredients-focused tasting based on local and indigenous product. Unlike the 4 course tasting menu, the Terroir does not consist... More

I know this place is getting rave reviews but I am a foodie, and ended eating here accidentally one night while having drinks - decided to stay. Ordered a strip steak - overcooked and tough when I ordered it medium well. Served us sweet breaks or something along those lines. Just odd and had flavored butters that were completely lost... We both had the lamb chops which was also accompanied by a small plate of lamb ribs. I prefer a BYOB, but their wine selection is carefully attended.

Do you love the symphony....the ballet.....great food........exquisite service???? Then Fork must go to the top of your 'to do' list. Not only is the interior a feast for the senses but the fabulous food, created in the most wonderful ways from locally available sources, is as well. My family treated me to a birthday dinner there in January and we... More
