A delicious dining journey

The four of us ordered the 4 course meal, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves all along the way. Hands down my favorite was the pasta course. The service was top notch. We wanted to try Fork since they had a new chef that we hadn't experienced yet. Had a pasta with pesto appetizer which was excellent as was my Bronzino entree. My wife had a salad which was very ordinary and a chicken entree which was very good quality but rather tasteless. We tried 2 different desserts which were unusual presentations... More

Before returning home to West Chester, we went to Olde City, parked the car and walked around looking for a place to eat. After we were seated, I realized it was Sunday brunch. Not what I wanted but soooo glad we stayed. What a great find. Food and service was excellent. Husband and I shared the salad - wonderful distinct... More

For a restaurant that clearly prides itself on the excellence of its cusine and "fine dining" experience, its missed the mark on so many levels. The Food - after a 5 minute explanation from the waite at all the various special options and tasting menu choices we went for the a la carte. The Veal and Tuna take off of... More

Stopped for lunch on our way back from the Indepence Seaport Museum. I had the ancient grains salad and hubby had the pastrami on rye. not lip smacking great for either one, but generous portions.

We revisited one of the Philadelphia standbys for excellent meals and found the food and experience even better. With the demise of Fountain and Bec Fin, Fork now stands out at the very top of the restaurant scene in the City of Brotherly Love. The relatively new chef Eli Kulp has brought an new concept and new tastes. First to... More

After Philadelphia Magazine ranked Fork as the number 2 restaurant in Philly for 2015 we made a reservation for a Mother's Day dinner. We arrived on time and had a short wait for an ordinary table in an unexceptional dining room. The best part of the atmosphere was the open kitchen and the huge floral displays reminiscent of those found... More

Food very good. Wait staff excellent. However, the portions are so small, things are very overpriced. Atmosphere is ok, but $200 for brunch for 4 is too much.

Let me start out by saying that I hate dining by myself. It's awful. And it's even worse a a romantic table for two, by myself. Such is the life of a business traveler..... So, I was particularly pleased when I entered "Fork" and was offered a seat at a very inviting bar with full restaurant menu. In fact, the... More

We went for brunch with our 2 kids (3 and 5). Both are well-behaved with developed palates for their age. The menu was a bit agressive for younger taste-buds, yet the kids tasted and enjoyed everything -- from oysters to the dessert cheese plate. I would not recommend this to families who prefer a "children's menu option". Even with my... More
