Quirky but good

This is a different style of restaurant and a very enjoyable experience. The ravioli to start was lovely and had a nettle element to the sauce. The smoked monkfish was tasty but could have been warmer. Californian Albarino was a great drink. Great service here.

Epicurean delight, gustatorial adventure. It is a classy restaurant. We ordered starters, salads and entree. Then the magic or adventure begins. "Gifts" begin to arrive - celery soda (great), tiny Japanese crabs, artisanal breads with variously flavored spreads, and more. The things you ordered don't necessarily arrive looking like what you think you order - but we DID NOT regret... More

The menu was very intellectual and took some time to understand, with a lot off unusual dishes. But, the food was great as was the music.

We were seated in the bar and had the best dinner here during a 5 day visit to Philly. The bartender helped us out in coupling the dinner and wines. What we found suited us very well was the energy and quality put into the dishes. They weren't the biggest servings put they were simply oozing quality. We were more... More

We had the prix fixe dinner which included starter, pasta, main course, and dessert, along with many amuses bouches between courses. Service was amazing. Our waitress helped us with wine pairings for each course, and struck the perfect note between attentiveness and hovering. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, but not pretentious or stuffy in the least. Great dinner!

We had the $75 4 course meal. It includes a starter/ appetizer, pasta, main and desert. Portions were good size. Highlights were beet salad with poached oysters, scallop cerviche, all pasta's were excellent. Duck, pork, and Bronzino were terrific. Waiter made wine suggestions that were spot on. Deserts were good, nice deal for $75 bucks. Other reviews said music was... More

We had a four course tasting menu and it was perfect! The staff was attentive and service was impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant when in town.

Fork has always had a good reputation, and it did not disappoint in terms of the food. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. The room is now a boisterous place with loud music and a "buzz", which, for my tastes did not compliment the beautiful, tasty food. Our waiter was very good. The sommelier let me down when he suggested... More

My husband and I were able to take advantage of a light drizzle that allowed the two of us to stay dry under the only awning the small patio offers while the other tables could not be seated. This afforded us great people watching and a cozy, quiet environment while everyone else dined indoors. The breads and small chef surprises... More

I've only eaten here once but the tasting menu was truly amazing. It was innovative and playful without being at all pretentious. Flavors where clean and well balanced and every dish had such a clear vision (and often a sense of humor). We'll be back whenever we're in Philly.
