Eight long years ago I had to move back to Massachusetts from Philadelphia. I had not been back to the City of Brotherly Love until this past week. When I arranged to meet an old friend for dinner Moriarty's was tops on my list. It was as wonderful as I remembered. The dark, cozy bar area still has the beautiful... More

This large Irish pub provides a great atmosphere to grab a drink and watch the game. The collection of old "pub jugs" is very impressive. While I did not order food, the couple next to me had the wings which looked great. There are a few outdoor tables on the front sidewalk that would make for ideal people watching.

Split a chicken cheesesteak a drank a pitcher of beer at this busy late night spot. Fun decor and a lively vibe made it a fun stop in Philly.

Nice place. Exactly what I would expect for an Irish Pub. Menu has good offering and the beer selection is fantastic. Service was good and the staff was friendly. The fish n chips were very good.

Hit this pub on the 1st night of our 1st visit to Philadelphia. Great Irish Pub atmosphere. The biggest collection of "Pub Jugs" I've ever seen...I mean they are EVERYWHERE & fascinating to look at while you enjoy one of their many, many draft beers. Their pub fare is quality (wings are great!) & service is friendly. I would recommend... More

Stayed for drinks and food while a Phillies game was on tv. Place was packed, we sat up at the bar and had some appetizers and beers. Staff were great. The only disappointment was the potato skins which had tinned synthetic cheese on them. Apart from that, fab place!

We went to Moriarty's hoping for some local Irish fare...during a lunch break.. They have an extensive beer menu, but sadly don't serve what they call "the classics" for traditional Irish meals till 5pm or later. I was terribly disappointed, but substituted a corn beef sandwich instead... They have a lot of variety in their menu, even including Mexican food...... More

I live in Dallas and travel to Philadelphia. When I eat alone I enjoy the pubs in Philly and frequently order wings and a Smithwick's Beer. I have eaten wings here before and liked them. Last night, they were delivered fast, but they were incredibly dry. I was surprised and disappointed.

When we feel like going to a pub for lunch, Moriarty's is generally our first choice. They have a relatively large menu, with decent prices, and good service. I've tried a number of items on their menu and have enjoyed each of them.
