Great atmos while the ball game is on

Stayed for drinks and food while a Phillies game was on tv. Place was packed, we sat up at the bar and had some appetizers and beers. Staff were great. The only disappointment was the potato skins which had tinned synthetic cheese on them. Apart from that, fab place!

We went to Moriarty's hoping for some local Irish fare...during a lunch break.. They have an extensive beer menu, but sadly don't serve what they call "the classics" for traditional Irish meals till 5pm or later. I was terribly disappointed, but substituted a corn beef sandwich instead... They have a lot of variety in their menu, even including Mexican food...... More

I live in Dallas and travel to Philadelphia. When I eat alone I enjoy the pubs in Philly and frequently order wings and a Smithwick's Beer. I have eaten wings here before and liked them. Last night, they were delivered fast, but they were incredibly dry. I was surprised and disappointed.

When we feel like going to a pub for lunch, Moriarty's is generally our first choice. They have a relatively large menu, with decent prices, and good service. I've tried a number of items on their menu and have enjoyed each of them.

We had a party of 6 that went to Moriarity's. We all ordered different dishes. Only one was disappointed [he had the Shepherd's Pie]. I had the fish and chips and I have never had better - the fish was fresh, cooked just right, crispy. I also had the potato soup which was excellent. Everyone, but the shepherd above, raved... More

A really great place to stop for lunch. Not your typical Irish pub with only Irish eats. They have that but also, Mexican, hamburgers, to name a few. My wife had three tacos that were terrific and I had the open face Reuben that was probably the best I have ever had. They claim that it is voted the best... More

Great pub, lots of energy, great decor and great food!! I went with a few friends for a wonderful dinner. Even though, it was a bit crowded and tables are close together, the food was fantastic and the service was very good. We had so much fun and you can't help but be friendly with tables near by. Love the... More

We ate here as a large group of 9. The service was wonderful and quick and the menu had a ton of great choices. The food was yummy! The only complaint I could make would be that they refuse to split the check no matter how large your party, so make sure everyone come with cash just in case.

Stop now if you like to pick the flavor of your wings because Moriarty's only does buffalo-style... but if you like flavorful, whole, and delicious wings then this is the place for you! The wings are great, you get 10 for $9.99, but it's practically 20 because they're so large. Great place!

This is just a great center city bar with an excellent selection of draft and bottled beer. Typical bar food, but generally good. Very good wings.
