Moriarty's has what is very important in a city abounding with excellent eateries; location, location, location. In the 1100 block of Walnut Street, it is right next to the Forrest Theater, three blocks west of the Walnut Street Theater, and three blocks east of the Academy of Music and Merriam Theater. The wait staff is cognizant of theater goers and,... More

Definately make a reservation here if you are interested in a great Pub atmosphere in close quarters with other pubsters. The seating is tight so don't think you are going to have a romantic conversation with your dinner partner. In fact you may find yourself engaging with strangers to your right or left. This is not a bad thing however.... More

The atmosphere was very inviting and relaxing. It was decorated in the tradition of and Irish pub, with a very extensive selection of beers, lagers, and stouts. The menu selection was also very good, The burgers are excellent, and the Ale House roast beef sandwich with Anjou was great.

My wife and I had lunch here on a recent Saturday afternoon. First time here for both of us. The décor is unique and I especially liked the Irish pitchers throughout. The food was very good too. Service was excellent. I had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and my wife had a cheesesteak wrap. We would definitely come back the... More

I was with a group of 7 looking for a dinner spot on Halloween night, and every restaurant was packed. Our timing at Moriarty's was perfect, as they had one large table available to accommodate us. The beer menu is among the most extensive I've ever seen anywhere! The food is good. It's basic pub fare. And the decor and... More

The fun is the point at Moriarty's. It's a seriously fun place to go with good friends to just enjoy each other's company. Staff is AWESOME. Food isn't five-star (Shepherd's Pie has LAMB...Cottage Pie has hamburger!!), but it's very very tasty and I wouldn't change a thing. Well, other than the lamb vs. hamburger thing. But I can't imagine a... More
