Restaurant was recommended by a colleague so walked Old City for lunch. Restaurant decor was beautiful. Ordered Picadillo and de la casa empanadas and they were some of the best that I have ever had. Given a choice again, would order sangria instead of pisco punch (waitress suggested sangria but wanted to try something different). Will definitely return for dinner... More

We've been here several times, this was our first time for lunch. We had tapas, liked most of them very much, a couple not so much. Excellent mojitos and service.

I have enjoyed Cuba Libre in two locations. My favorite is the Cuba Libre in Old City. Nice atmosphere and I enjoy nights when they open up with Latin music after dinner. My favorite is the Lechón Asado (Leidy Farm's slow roasted marinated pulled pork) with “Chino-Cubano” vegetable fried rice. It's as close as I can get to being in... More

We have eaten here at least ten times and Cuba Libre is tied with Amada for our favorite restaurant in center city Philadelphia. Our most recent visit was two weeks ago with three of our adult children and my daughter's boyfriend. We ordered 13 or 14 small plates. Every dish was phenomenal. The guacamole, made with pineapple as well as... More

This was our fourth experience at We are on our way to Hawaii via PHL, and my wife and daughter insisted on Cuba Libre. We all just love this place for both the atmosphere and food. Their wine isn't the best, but it is decent. But, the food makes up for it. Great service too.

My boyfriend and I love to come Here for a date night with the tastiest food and drinks and live atmosphere. The service is friendly and helpful, especially when ordering from the extensive rum menu. Not only is the menu exciting and varied, but the food is super delicious and authentic! A must try in Philly!

Everything was delicious and great prices. Tapas style. Don't leave Philly without having lunch here! Loved the Cubano sandwich, the cheese natilla, the soup, etc, etc.

The tapas were all good and the atmosphere felt genuine--skylight made it feel like a patio. Sparky made a Cuba Libra drink to my partners parameters. We went back a second time.

If your looking for great food/drinks/staff and atmosphere you will find it here. My brother and I went here while visiting Philly and forget the cheesesteak give me a mojito and a stack with Yuca potato mash/pulled pork/slaw topped with a sour orange mole sauce. I am not a big drinker but I had two mojito's (Primo & Orange) and... More

I really wanted to like Cuba Libre , but they really fall short. We went this Sunday with 7 people they did seat us but with pushing from myself. Not a very busy but seemed like the waitress had too much on her plate. Management seems to just walk around and not do anything or help at all, so the... More
