Bibou # 1 French Chef, # 1 French Restaurant

My husband and I had the 7 course Prix fix dinner at Bibou on Saturday night. Bibou is an experience no one should miss, the food, atmosphere and staff are exceptional. The chef, Pierre Camels is by far above above and beyond comparison. The snail and scallop mousse cannelloni (2nd course) was... read more

This is one of the best BYOB restaurants I've ever enjoyed. Fantastic meal, service and environment. Enjoy but be prepared and patient with reservations. Limited seating makes the seating a premium. Check on BYOB and cash only status.

Bibou Restaurant is superb!!! It's tiny in size, but HUGE in atmosphere, TASTE, authenticity, and warmth! Every single bite was excellent - parsnip soup, confit hen, crabmeat and saffron creme caramel. The service was impecible, and chef Ron came over to chat with us after we finished - which made the whole evening beyond perfect. I think there are no... More

Your classic Parisian neighborhood café - small, tight and cozy. Food is pretty good and service is excellent. The Foie gras is very tasty. Bone marrow, escargot, pig foot and steak are just good. I would call it rather expensive - $200 without drinks. Probably will explore different French places for next time unless they update their menu.

Escargot (my favorite food) was nothing special at all. Service was very good. If you want excellent food, this is very good but not excellent.

Bibou serves decent food. And it's not expensive. But I can't explain all the excellent ratings and the rave reviews about the food here. Had very high expectations going in, due to all the wonderful things people say about the food. What impressed us more was the very good service we received. From telephone conversations with restaurant staff to interactions... More

My wife and I dined and had the 7-course tasting at the 'chef's table' for our anniversary. The setting feels a bit like an afterthought as you have a limited view into the kitchen while seated at basically a server station. It's a little awkward at first, but I still enjoyed 'the show' The food was very good, and I... More

I was treated to a meal at the Bibou on a Sunday evening. We had booked which was good job as it was busy. It was a set 4 course menu with a very good choice of dishes. The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to ensure you had a good evening
