Great mussels and beer

Never ending rooms came for the mussels which were outstanding. Plenty of great beer, service was fast and friendly. I was a little disappointed in the frites - small size but the mayo dipping sauce OMG good

Had lunch with work associates. Great moule frites selection and burgers. Had a pretty classy pilsner to wash it down, but look long and hard at the abv. Everything is loaded with EtOH.

Incredibly interesting variety of beers on tap (tons in bottles too). But surprisingly, the food i excellent too. Had a great veal cheeks in polenta dish, plus some fantastically fresh and delicious mussels with gruyere and De Koninck. Great building / rooms. Nice service. A must visit whenever in Philly.

A really nice surprise. With a multitude of fine-dining and high-end restaurants in the area, we were quite happy to find a down-to-earth pub/restaurant with a huge selection of beer and a food menu with plenty of options for both vegetarians and meatatarians. It was jammed packed but no one seemed to mind. The servers have got it down to... More

We were recommended to visit here by the customer that we were visiting in the area. An interesting maze of rooms each with a bar. They had several beers on tap. When we requested a "sample" or "taste" of some that we were uncertain of we were informed that this was not the restaurant's policy. Travelling as much as I... More

This place has a great variety of craft beer. However, we went on Saturday evening, and it was super packed. We could hardly walk in. We actually ended up leaving because the wait was over an hour and a half. We went back on Sunday after lunch and it was fantastic. All in all, it was a good place, but... More

My wife and I stopped for a dinner before a concert. Shared flatbread and hot wings appetizers, and then a pot of mussels in Thai sauce. We'll definitely be coming back. The wings were good, everything else was outstanding. This is a Belgian style brewery. A nicely decorated hole in the wall, brewery style food, lots of European and European... More

I had my first ever Pliny the Elder, and my wife found out that her favorite beer of all time (Monks cafe sour ale) was brewed specifically for the owner of this fine establishment. We sipped our beers while feasting on a duck confit. The confit was out of this world-packed with flavor. I would recommend this place to beer... More

When we visit family in Philly a required stop is here at my sister's favorite "go to" spot. A noisy little bar...very popular, expect a wait for a table. Big selection of beers, solid menu. My sister always has her favorite....burger with hand cut fries, but food is much more than that....think interesting salads, beef cheeks, frog's legs and pots... More
