Another anniversary and what do you get for each other? A reservation for Vetri. We are very much into tasting menus and chef's choice so this was a must do restaurant for us. But as prepared as we were, we were more than impressed. The location was fun and we had a table that looked out onto the street. Then... More

Celebrated my birthday with my immediate family. Food, wine, service was all impeccable. We received a warm welcome upon entering the townhouse restaurant, seated promptly and immediately served a flute of bubbly wine! Each course of dinner was accompanied by a wine selection that complemented the food and all of it was carefully explained by the wait staff. A special... More

Great pizza, great food and a wonderful warm friendly place. Perfect for families and couples.. they have bar seating where you can watch them prepare and cook the pizzas in a wood stove.. very cool.

What a culinary experience. It was on my bucket list of restaurants to go to and so glad we did. Everything was awesome - from the food, ambiance and service. I will absolutely go back. The wine pairing was perfect.

Wow what a night! We were fortunate enough to receive a gift certificate for a tasting for 2 with wine. I just can't tell you what a wonderful experience the entire evening was. The service, the food the wine, the service the food. Well you get the idea, it was a great night all around and if you are looking... More

Although this was our third visit we are not regulars by any means. We keep returning because this is truly a stunning culinary event. And it just keeps getting better! We love our wines but can not possibly do two pairings, but one pairing works for one diner, as you get a very different dinner. Not an issue, a split... More

When Kate and I had occasion to go to Philly. our research and friends’ recommendations put Vetri at the top of our list of restaurant destinations. We went to Vetri with high expectations and high hopes. The ambiance was pleasing as the restaurant was suitably small, making it almost unnoticeable from the street. Just a few small tables and plenty... More

I have to say that the food at Vetri is some of the best in Philadelphia. That said, it is the most expensive and not worth the jump from other great places. Dinner is $155 per person and wine pairings start at an additional $90. At almost $300 per person with tip, it's just not worth it. For far less... More
