Our recent dinner at Vetri's was a chance to return to one of best restaurants in Philly. Since our last visit, they have changed to a tasting menu at a fixed price. Each small plate in our dinner was very good--but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. Some may like the variety of 3 or 4... More

Every bite was close to a perfect bite. The best was the signature spinach gnocchi. But truthfully, every course was incredibly enjoyable. The food is prepared with a care that shows; not only in presentation, but in extraordinary taste. Each flavor is complimented by several others on each plate. Although this restaurant only offers a tasting menu with four courses,... More

Vetri is our go-to for our anniversary and once again, it didn't disappoint. Their service is exquisite. They know their customers and adjust accordingly. They welcome you with prosecco and small snacks. Their bread and olives are delicious. Then you sit back and let them do their thing--which is deliver small plates of some of the best food you'll ever... More

This is the best restaurant in Philadelphia. It's in a small, romantic townhouse on Spruce. It's now solely a tasting menu. There is an extensive wine list, but I recommend the wine pairings; it's the only way to match wines perfectly to each dish. I went with the premium pairings, and found them to be extraordinary. With so many dishes,... More

Vetri was one of the top two dinners we have ever had (Restaurant Gary Danko in SF was the other). Food, service, ambiance...could not have been better. Some of the dishes were transcendent (Almond Tortellini!!!). Not cheap by a long shot, hard to get a reservation, but try!!! It is a tasting menu so you never know what you're getting,... More

We had a delicious dining experience! That's what it is, an experience! Each course was paired with the perfect wine. There was not one course we did not enjoy! The courses are so creative and unique! The spinach gnocchi was like dessert it was so good!! All the servers were fantastic but our main server Caitlin was so pleasant and... More

We came to philadelphia from new york especially for this meal. It did not disappoint. The food was incredible and the wine pairings made it even more perfect. The service could not have been better.

Real simple....if you want an excellent meal, and overall very good dining experience, this is a must try! My wife and I had wanted to try this restaurant for some time. Needed to make reservations ~ 2-3 months in advance. We had a reservation for four people, requesting a table near the windows, overlooking the street. Only one glitch...when we... More

In reading some of the reviews I am surprised to see some people complaining about their order not being handled correctly. Don't go here to order. Go to eat. We had 7 courses. They were excellent and we didn't order anything. We tried the young wine pairing and it was excellent. This is fantastic food and yes, it is expensive.... More

My husband and I had no kids for the night and needed to be in south Jersey the next day so after a lot of research decided to splurge on Vetri. There was SO MUCH FOOD AND WINE! Almost too much. Seven courses plus six wines! And all incentive except for the pasta course. But as I reflect I wonder... More
