My husband and I visit this restaurant about once or twice a year. This time we noticed several changes. The biggest one was the PRICES. We don't mind paying for excellent food but unfortunately the quality of the food did not match the increase in prices. On a good note, our server Manuel was very good . So, I think... More

I have to say after reading all the glowing reviews here, I am left scratching my head! Just the name "Tierra Colombiana" implies that this is a COLOMBIAN restaurant. Not Cuban or Ecuadorian or any other latin american country. If I was looking for foods from these countries I would look for restaurants from those countries! Truthfully, the food was... More

Went there for a business lunch and the menu had something for everyone. I had the sausage with fried plantain rice and beans. Park across street in Rite Aid lot. Need to go back as so many interesting meals on menu

My wife and I can't get enough of this spot. Best Cuban food we've had hands down, and it goes toe to toe with some of the best foods we've had ever. I always get the Bandeja Tipica, where as my wife gets pork shoulder. We always leave full and satisfied. Very reasonably priced. True the neighborhood is sketchy but... More

Been here at least 3 times now and loved it as always. I consider this a neighborhood gem as this place is always packed especially for dinner! This is in my favorite list!

I rated this average to account for my personal dislike of Colombian food. This place has Colombian, Cuban, Ecuadorian, and other hispanic foods. I had been here 5 years ago, did not like it then, but decided to try it again. It was noisy because Ecuador was playing in the World Cup, and the large contingent of Ecuadorians was cheering... The paella and a pitcher of Sangria and it's heaven. Attentive wait staff. They will let you sit and enjoy a slow meal if you like. Fun place for a crowd. Happy atmosphere. Large portions.

We found this place on Yelp, during my last stay in Philly. We were staying at the Marriot Courtyard in the Navy Yard and wanted somewhere off the beaten path to dine outside of the more known latin cuisine restaurants. Didn't realize how far out of the city this place was (North Philly) and the neighborhood got sketchier and more... More

This is one my favorite places to eat in the city. The neighborhood isnt the best but there is nothing to be worried about. The food is delicious and consistent and its a lively place. It look small from the outside but it is very spacious. It gets very busy a dinner time. And dont let this place fool you-... More

I was there just a few days ago, and this is perhaps the 5th or 6th time that I have eaten at Colombiana. Generally, I do not have the opportunity to eat any type of Latin American foods, so coming here is an exotic treat. Tierra Colombiana has a friendly, polite staff and is kept immaculately clean. The food is... More
