First time in Philly.

Was skeptical at first but the food was excellent. My wife and stepdaughter both loved there's as well.

The service including waiter and hostess were rude. I had the Capresse salad and it was so under seasoned I am not sure the salad was dressed at all. Also the tomatoes were under ripe which made the whole salad most unpleasant. I had the special, sea bass. It was also under seasoned and served with an unappetizing wine sauce... More

Really friendly and good quality food. Our son enjoyed the fresh pasta. We had the fish special which was beautifully fresh grilled fish with roasted veg. Great service.

I enjoyed celebrating Father's Day with my family this evening at this restaurant. The food was very good, service ok under the circumstances (small children running around which is only to be expected on a family holiday. My problem was with the attitude of the staff. I arrived about 15 minutes late due to delays in public transportation. I knew... More

After eating cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches for a couple of days. Not to mention we went to a Phillies game and had hot dogs etc. My husband and I wanted to have a better meal. We were having a glass of wine at the Morris House restaurant and struck up a conversation with a local. We asked, in his... More

My son graduated from high school today at Temple Liacoura's Center. So after a great ceremony I wanted to go to a place for a nice celebration lunch. My husband and I had been to Spasso's a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. So I decided to take the family. What a great choice. We had a great lunch,... More

Spasso's is one of those unpretentious places. But the food here is always excellent! The menu offers a wide selection of Italian-style dishes and there's usually at least one special that makes you say

During a business trip, I came here by myself for a very early dinner (4 pm) when the restaurant was empty. I had read some reviews, and the restaurant is walking distance from the Hilton where I was staying. I was not seeking fine dining, but rather a reasonable-quality meal. I've had my fair share of Italian in NYC, San... More

Hosted a business dinner event here for 28 people. This was my second time visiting, the first time in spring with 15 people for dinner. Everything is top notch. The service is fantastic and they let us order straight from the menu. The dishes were served perfectly hot and on time for having such a large group. Wonderful wine list... More

The menu is not huge, but has quite a few interesting dishes. For example, there are 3 different kinds of gnocchi on the menu-- one without red sauce which is quite unusual. I had the Penne Spasso. It was nicely al dente and had just the right amount of cream for me. My son liked the Pesto Fettuccine. My husband... More
